I had a pretty bad experience with this company. Not only did it take twice as long to complete the job, but it cost a lot more than quoted. The contractor was using my house as a work shop to work on OTHER PEOPLES houses (cabinents) but was not working on mine. I had problems with them from the start to the completion of the job.
We truly enjoyed working with Judy and found her to be highly responsive and selfless given that she had suffered a devastating fire in her home. We worked with Judy from the start of mitigation through reconstruction, ending a few months ago, on a positive note.
When first notified by Judy back in January regarding our crew’s actions as she outlined in her comments, we immediately accepted responsibility and did everything we could to atone for this error in judgment right away. It never happened again, and is not typical of our policies or practices.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Judy’s remark with regard to the cost being higher than quoted. We entered into an initial contract with her understanding and agreement. Thereafter, we executed a change order for additional work only after confirming that funds would be provided to Judy for these necessary costs by her insurance company. We worked hard for Judy with her insurance company, with the City of Roseville, with the structural engineer and kept her informed of all unavoidable delays during the process of putting back her home.
