We disagree with the customer's claims:
The customer expressed dissatisfaction with the painting and drywall workWe offered to correct any issuesThe customer refused to allow us to come back into the home to correct the issuesShe is refusing to pay for 100% of those items even though they only need minor touch upWe feel she owes at least 90% of the work
Almost all of the items she listed in her complaint as being "not done", are items we are not charging forAfter she refused to allow us back to correct the paint, she "fired" us and said she would have another contractor complete all of the items she has listed in her complaintWe have not charged her for any of those itemsWe only charged for work performed
We have submitted her file to our attorney to begin collections/lien/lawsuit proceedings in order to collect for work done
This customer is dishonest and has been since day oneShe filed complaints with Revdex.com and her insurance carrier claiming we were holding her items for ransomAt no time did we tell her that and we allowed her to retrieve those items even though our bill is not satisfiedShe has been dishonest about the level of work completed, she has been dishonest about the items she claimed in her Revdex.com complaint
In short, this customer intentionally allowed us to perform work and then refused to allow us back to inspect and correct items and now refuses to pay for any of the work doneThe painting and drywall will not have to be completely re-doneONly touched upHowever, her new contractor will likely claim that it does have to be completely re-done because this customer's goal from the beginning has been to make a profit from her insurance claim
