I strongly recommend not using ServPro of Laurel. They came to my house to restore 2 rooms and a stairway that had been damaged by water. The job was supposed to take a few days and went on for weeks. I contacted the worker by text and email daily and received one excuse after another as to why the workers did not show up. I took off from work to be there when they said they were coming and they did not show up and gave me no notice. They moved my furniture and property to the outside porch with no covering so it was damaged by the rain. They left the work area a mess when they left each night. At one point a worker put a dirty Shopvac on top of fancy dresses that they had piled up on top of a bed. The paint job was horrible - getting brown paint all over my white trim. When I complained, the head person told me the worker was a jack of all trades but was primarily someone who cut down trees. The people who worked at my house are no longer employed with the company. I have offered to pay for the work that was done well and will pay for the work that was done poorly if they come and fix it but they refuse to do that. Part of the job was to install a carpet on stairs. The worker intended to install the runner by putting tape under it. The carpet store said that would have been extremely dangerous. They clearly had no idea how to do that properly and should not have taken on a task they could not do correctly. It was an enormous headache working with this company.

Service for a flood with 4 inches of water in the basement were completed on 7/29/17. However, when the line for the dehumidifier was pulled (8/3/2017) from the drain, it also pulled the line for the sump pump. The sump pump then began draining into the basement rather than the drain. This was discovered when another 1 inch of water was found in the basement on 8/5/2017. *** was contacted regarding the issue and we were told there would be no charge for the second service. *** claims they mailed invoices however no invoice was ever received. There were also no phone attempts to contact us for payment of the invoice. *** cannot produce documentation that there was an agreement to pay for the second service. The first we knew of an outstanding invoice was when we were contacted by a collecting agency. The invoice for the work performed on 7/29/2017 has been paid in full. I am requesting resolution of the invoice dated 8/5/2017 for the service performed as a result of improper equipment removal.
