Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Their pictures incriminate themselves In the before picture there is no scratch on the front corner at the bottom of my washer On their pictures after they delivered the dryer, you can see the scratches The other scratch on the top of the washer is further down than their picture shows and the scratch from the newest dryer can't be seen from that angle And they cannot shove the blame on the drywall guy, because the drywall was already put back in I just purchased these items this year I did not purchase them at a scratch and dent sale and I do not want them scratched As for the vent, it was old But it was functional until they ripped the whole thing out of the wall from the inside of the house As for the post, yes it was glued, but it was attached before they broke it I never asked for restitution for that, so it is a moot point There was nothing wrong with the master bed before they ripped the post off Once again, I didn't ask for restitution It is just to show their carelessness with my belonging The picture of the phone card they attached, is the phone cord int the living room The one they ripped out of the wall was in the bedroom None of the furniture was lifted from the bottom It was all dragged She keeps stating when "we" were in the home Neither [redacted] or [redacted] were in my home They have no idea what actually occurred there As for the towel rack, they did more than put a blower in they room They also ripped the baseboard off Once again, proving the owners don't know what went on in my house Once again, I did not ask for it to be repaired They did not move the furniture back They moved the tv so I could at least plug it in and the couch As of today, all of the other furniture remains where it was Shoved in the middle of each room So, they cannot blame any other contractor for their damage As there has been no other contractor In regard to the drywall (which has nothing to do with this complaint) it was installed by a friend of mine as a personal favor And there was definitely no final walk through Not with [redacted] or anyone else Once again, I will be happy to pay the balance once they replace the washer and dryer by a professional Fix the vent and the phone cord

First an foremost, Servpro takes customer concerns very seriously and works to address the concern to resolution Our Project Manager for this job was not fired He left our employ in November for personal reasons Before he left, he went over his jobs and had advised that
this job was complete The file was closed I heard from Mr*** on January 4, MR*** is only available on Wednesdays and Fridays We went to their home, at their convenience, to address their concerns weeks ago on January There is a small punch list of items to be completed It was scheduled for us to come back to their home on February 8, Regarding the sub contractor showing up at their home The reason he went to their home, and the reason he hadn't been paid, was he had never turned a bill in to Servpro HE went there because he didn't know where he had done the work Ironically, one of the things on the *** punch list was the work performed by this particular sub contractor He will be meeting us there on February to address his portion I feel confident we can take care of these minor punch list items to the *** satisfaction.

Attached you will find the Certificate of Satisfaction completed by *** *** He was happy with our work until time to pay the bill Unfortunately, *** ***, purchased an inadequate amount of sump pump failure coverage ($10,000) from his insurance company The coverage
amount he purchased was not enough to cover his finished basement and personal property Servpro was aware of his coverage limit and worked diligently to keep the cost of the dry-out down We talked daily with *** *** and maintained communication with his adjuster Upon completion of our work, *** *** was asked to complete the attached Certificate of Satisfaction *** *** actually asked for a price from us to do additional work to remove a vanity and some carpet because he wanted new carpet We provided *** *** with an itemized bill, along with a copy to his insurance Our bill was $6, We did not overcharge *** *** Our pricing followed the guidelines outlined by his insurance company, which is in line with industry standards His adjuster was involved in the job process *** *** then began his mission to reduce our billing *** *** argued that we left the equipment there too long He even went so far as to have his insurance company hire an outside source to fight his point We received a call from his insurance company February 15, advising now they were paying our bill and we needed to contact *** *** who claims he has mold now We attempted to schedule a re-inspection of his home and when my Manager that ran this job spoke to *** ***, he stated we were not allowed to come back to his home My manager asked if he would speak with me, the owner, and *** *** stated "The one that won't cut my bill"? He hung up I tried to call *** *** The first call when I stated who I was, the call was disconnected I called again and left a voicemail asking him to call me This was not the first water damage *** *** suffered I feel confident we had dried his structure I believe *** *** was confident we dried his home as well, so much so that he thought we dried it for too many days and fought to reduce our billing If *** *** has a problem, I would almost have to think the basement must have been re-affected Servpro stands behind our work and we would be happy to reinspect his basement and take moisture readings to see if there is a problem we can help him with I am terribly sorry he is unhappy I would highly recommend he purchase a higher limit of coverage for his sump pump failure coverage due to the value of the many nice things he has

Please be advised that the photos Ms*** provided to the Revdex.com of her washer and dryer show damage that WAS NOT present when Servpro was on the jobServpro did make a scratch on the lower portion of her dryerWe acknowledged the scratch and promptly replaced the dryer with a brand new unitIt was put in place and the damaged unit removedThere were no scratches on the washing machine or I can promise you Ms*** would have pointed it out at that timeWe did no work on the exterior of the *** homeThe photo provided of the dryer vent appears to show rust and I would think this was from wear and tearRegarding the phone cord "ripped" from the wall, I have attached a photo of the wall and you can see the phone wire coming out of the wall prior to us doing any work thereThe photos Ms*** provided are AFTER another contractor has been in her home doing workyou can clearly see the new drywall and drywall mud everywhereConcerning the bed posts, the green bedroom suite was heavily GLUED together with excess glue clearly visible prior to the water damageThe wood colored post was draped with clothing when we were on siteI don't know of the condition because you couldn't see itThe bed was lifted from the bottom to move it to the sideWe would not have touched the postTowel bar? This is a new oneAll we did was set an air mover in this bathroom so I don't know how we would have affected a towel bar half way up the wallIf my employees had damaged it, they would have reported itFinally, regarding "Step was not done at all", Servpro was hired to dry out her home, periodMs*** had no insurance coverageShe and her boyfriend complained of her financial status throughtout the jobHer boyfriend called Servpro on numerous occasions stating we were taking advantage of a "single woman"This continued until he was informed a "single woman" owns this business and employs numerous single womenWe don't take advantage of anyoneMs*** and her boyfriend desperately pleaded for a break because she didn't have the money to pay us her full bill for the dryoutMs*** has mentioned to us that we didn't clean and sanitizeWe told her we would be happy to but there would be additional costShe, of course, did not want to pay for this work to be doneThere was a final walk through done on the job with Ms*** present with my Manager, *** *** and the only items she had concern with were the scratch on the dryer (which we had scheduled), the bed post that had previously been glued and the moisture evidently loosened the glue, and when the crew came to pick up the equipment that day, she wanted her furniture placed back where it was prior to the water damageOur crew took care of thisI will state again, Ms*** needs to pay her billIt is unfortunate she didn't purchase insurance to help her with this expenseFrom the photos she provided, it looks like she found the money to have repairs made in her homeIt would be nice if she paid for the work we have already completed without further action on our part

I am neither rude nor dishonest I did at no time threaten anyone *** made the threats *** did in fact defend her crew by saying they were tired The crew did not survey the situation The price was $6,as soon as he walked in A flood is a floodThere was approximately inches of water in my house How does that double the price?  I am neither rude nor dishonest.  I did at no time threaten anyone.  [redacted] made the threats.  [redacted] did in fact defend her crew by saying they were tired.  The crew did not survey the situation.  The price was $6,000 as soon as he walked in.  A flood is a flood. There was approximately 7 inches of water in my house.  How does that double the price?  And now her claim from [redacted] says it was an $8,000 job.   The brochure states step #5 as the cleaning process.  It does not state that it is not part of the process.  Nor does it state there is an additional charge.  The brochure also states that a final walk-through would be conducted.  That also did not happen.  The damages would have been seen at that time.  I don't know how they can say it is not their responsibility to take ownership of their negligence.  When Thomas delivered the dryer, I even asked him if he could repair my phone line and he said, "No."  I have attached pictures and parts of their ads.    If they would replace my barely used washer and dryer and have it installed by Lowes and repair the vent and phone line, I would be happy to pay the balance due.   Everything else will be considered a lesson learned

[  The response given by Servpro is unacceptable. My complaint is based solely on their efforts and craftsmanship. The refund check in the sum of $636.32 is completely redundant to my complaint. Also in no way was I volatile nor erratic in my approach to get our home fixed. We have children and animals that live in our home, I spoke in concern after having Mold still present and holes in our subfloor after 2 months of construction in less than a 100 sq. ft. area.  That alone is absurd that we were paying out of pocket to live somewhere else while waiting for mold to be removed 2 months later.    Servpro did not meet in any way nor did they show in detail work performed in which they received monies in the sum of $2,686.84. As far as other problems or concerns with our home, that is completely false, and also redundant, our focus is on the damaged area that was to be fixed. Everything I stated in my complaint is of factual basis and there is plenty of evidence to prove it. Again I stress that this is only about unsatisfactory work performed at area of water damage and also Mold still being present after 2 months from start time of construction in which we were out of a home and having to pay out of pocket for living expenses elsewhere in which we have receipts. Attached are as many photos I could upload. Two of the attached are after repairs were made.  There is a clear photo of before and after of subfloor repairs in which you can see the very poor work performed by Servpro.  The joist blocking they used was of very old material which had damage, as you can see it matches the rest of the subflooring throughout which was built in 1926.  All new lumber was purchased by me to repair sub flooring that which Servpro was paid to do except for one single board approximately 2ft. long. There are several more from subfloor repair as well as mold removal and damaged walls etc. Hopefully one of the shorter videos is viewable, but there is a few more that are larger and would not upload....None of the Servpro structural craftsmanship was deemed acceptable. All had to be repaired out of pocket. Also I would like to stress to the Owner of Servpro just the negligence of leaving MOLD in our home for 2 whole months and openly acknowledging the fact as it were no big deal is very poor business. Furthermore the poor craftsmanship and timeframe in which monies were paid should and will be refunded. My Regards[redacted]Claim ID: [redacted]]

Their pictures incriminate themselves.  In the before picture there is no scratch on the front corner at the bottom of my washer.  On their pictures after they delivered the dryer, you can see the scratches.  The other scratch on the top of the washer is further down than their picture shows and the scratch from the newest dryer can't be seen from that angle.  And they cannot shove the blame on the drywall guy, because the drywall was already put back in.  I just purchased these items this year.  I did not purchase them at a scratch and dent sale and I do not want them scratched.  As for the vent, it was old.  But it was functional until they ripped the whole thing out of the wall from the inside of the house.  As for the post, yes it was glued, but it was attached before they broke it.  I never asked for restitution for that, so it is a moot point.  There was nothing wrong with the master bed before they ripped the post off.  Once again, I didn't ask for restitution.  It is just to show their carelessness with my belonging.   The picture of the phone card they attached, is the phone cord int the living room.  The one  they ripped out of the wall was in the bedroom.  None of the furniture was lifted from the bottom.  It was all dragged.  She keeps stating when "we" were in the home.  Neither [redacted] or [redacted] were in my home.  They have no idea what actually occurred there.  As for the towel rack, they did more than put a blower in they room.  They also ripped the baseboard off.  Once again, proving the owners don't know what went on in my house.  Once again, I did not ask for it to be repaired.  They did not move the furniture back.  They moved the tv so I could at least plug it in and the couch.  As of today, all of the other furniture remains where it was.  Shoved in the middle of each room.  So, they cannot blame any other contractor for their damage.  As there has been no other contractor.  In regard to the drywall (which has nothing to do with this complaint) it was installed by a friend  of mine as a personal favor.  And there was definitely no final walk through.  Not with [redacted] or anyone else.  Once again, I will be happy to pay the balance once they replace the washer and dryer by a professional.   Fix the vent and the phone cord.

Attached you will find the Certificate of Satisfaction completed by [redacted].  He was happy with our work until time to pay the bill.  Unfortunately, [redacted],  purchased an inadequate amount of sump pump failure coverage ($10,000) from his insurance company.  The coverage...

amount he purchased was not enough to cover his finished basement and personal property.  Servpro was aware of his coverage limit and worked diligently to keep the cost of the dry-out down.  We talked daily with [redacted] and maintained communication with his adjuster.  Upon completion of our work, [redacted] was asked to complete the attached Certificate of Satisfaction.  [redacted] actually asked for a price from us to do additional work to remove a vanity and some carpet because he wanted new carpet.   We provided [redacted] with an itemized bill, along with a copy to his insurance.  Our bill was $6,542.45.  We did not overcharge [redacted].   Our pricing followed the guidelines outlined by his insurance company, which is in line with industry standards.  His adjuster was involved in the job process.   [redacted] then began his mission to reduce our billing.  [redacted] argued that we left the equipment there too long.  He even went so far as to have his insurance company hire an outside source to fight his point.  We received a call from his insurance company February 15, 2017 advising now they were paying our bill and we needed to contact [redacted] who claims he has mold now.  We attempted to schedule a re-inspection of his home and when my Manager that ran this job spoke to [redacted], he stated we were not allowed to come back to his home.  My manager asked if he would speak with me, the owner, and [redacted] stated "The one that won't cut my bill"?   He hung up.  I tried to call [redacted].  The first call when I stated who I was, the call was disconnected.  I called again and left a voicemail asking him to call me.  This was not the first water damage [redacted] suffered.  I feel confident we had dried his structure.  I believe [redacted] was confident we dried his home as well, so much so that he thought we dried it for too many days and fought to reduce our billing.  If [redacted] has a problem, I would almost have to think the basement must have been re-affected.  Servpro stands behind our work and we would be happy to reinspect his basement and take moisture readings to see if there is a problem we can help him with.  I am terribly sorry he is unhappy.  I would highly recommend he purchase a higher limit of coverage for his sump pump failure coverage due to the value of the many nice things he has.
