have no control over who is in the lineup on any given day. The lineup is the responsibility of the coach and on any given day the players you expect to play might not for multiple reasons. You might go to an regular season NHL game expecting to see your favourite player but due to injuries or a coaches decision, that player might not be in the lineup. A few of the players besides the ones mentioned here, did not play in the exhibition game due to injuries incurred the night before, which again is out of our control. The NHL requires that both teams have to dress a minimum of eight NHL veterans, and in this case Ottawa dressed eight and Carolina dressed ten. Both teams met the minimum requirement. With regards to your claim that you attempted to reach me by phone and also put in a written complaint, we have no record here of any message left and also no copy of any complaint from you regarding the game. Certainly if we had received it, we would have responded. I am not sure if you written complaint was addressed to me or if it went to Mile One, but we have no record of it at our office location. In any event, we are sorry that your experience at this game was not satisfactory and in relation to that we would offer you four tickets to any future St. [redacted]'s IceCaps game in the hopes that you might have a better experience cheering on what we hope might be your home team here in St. John's.
