I have also attached a tracking document with all communication/updates from July 31 to date.

Desired Outcome

Reimbursement for food loss check for the cost of a similar frig replacement (2 door, stainless steel) in place of damaged frig due to their negligence. The current frig is not acceptable.

Hello,

We understand your frustration in this matter and have spoken with you several times in regards to the unfortunate issues you experienced with using our services in an attempt to remedy the situation. Our franchise absolutely values the input and/or concerns of all of our clients and any issues that arise are always addressed in a professional manner. We acknowledged that we were at fault immediately upon receiving your initial complaint. Our attempt to remedy the situation was to offer you the three following choices for a solution to the refrigerator issue:

1. We could professionally clean and sanitize the refrigerator.
2. We could replace the refrigerator with a model of similar style.
3. We could compensate you to replace the refrigerator.

We paid to have the refrigerator professionally cleaned and serviced by a technician for $60. We completely understand that you preferred to have the refrigerator replaced rather than cleaned because of the food that was spoiled so after the cleaning we offered that option as well. Upon speaking to you, it was clear that you did not want a model with a similar style, but requested a new 2018 model. Because your refrigerator was 16 years old, we did not deem this to be a reasonable request. Due to the age of your refrigerator, it's value was actually $0. However, because we were at fault, we still offered to compensate you for the amount of $200 to replace it in addition to the cost for replacing your food.

Our technician leaving your refrigerator unplugged was unacceptable in the first place and we are extremely willing to find a solution that works for both parties. Our offer to replace the refrigerator with a similar model or compensate you for your loss still stands. I do not accept this response from Servpro as this is not the whole truth based on the situation with Servpro. I have everything in writing from this company and they still continue to misrepresent the facts. Servpro claims the following: "Our attempt to remedy the situation was to offer you the three following choices for a solution to the refrigerator issue:

1. We could professionally clean and sanitize the refrigerator.
2. We could replace the refrigerator with a model of similar style.
3. We could compensate you to replace the refrigerator."

The first option to professionally clean/sanitize was not a choice or option even discussed with me; instead, Servpro just made this decision after they already knew the refrigerator was damaged and we had agreed that a similar replacement refrigerator was the resolution.

The second and third options, I came to later find out, over the course of two months trying to work with Servpro and later their attorney, that these options really meant the same thing in terms of actual compensation to be paid out. More specifically, "replace the refrigerator with a model of similar style" and "compensate you to replace the refrigerator" would be the same amount of money-$200 total. Servpro rationalized that this dollar amount was the "value based on the depreciation" of my 2002 refrigerator. This is actually what Servpro would only offer me as compensation for the replacement or the "refrigerator with a model of similar style." Which is not really realistic because Frigidaire doesn't even make that 2002 model any longer. So ultimately, the only resolution would be to find another kind of refrigerator that is similar to what my frig looked like since it was damaged. Unfortunately, Servpro has made it clear they do not want to do this.

Finally, another point of clarification is that there is no communication or current attempts to resolve anything currently with their attorney. Servpro mentions this in their response--this is not the case. I've tried several times to reach out to the owners personally based on emails as well as people that personally know the owners and I have received absolutely no response from "the owners" listed on the Revdex.com website. To date, Servpro nor their attorney has provided adequate/ reasonable funds to replace my frig with a similar frig. I shared realistic costs with Servpro for refurbished refrigerators and still Servpro and their attorney have stuck to $200 as compensation as a replacement cost. To date, between Servpro and their attorney this has been the only option--$200. I refused this because this is not acceptable. This whole situation is unacceptable.

We have tried to reach this client multiple times to discuss these matters and resolve this issue with no success of doing so. Our offer of $200 to replace the refrigerator still stands. We also have possession of her refrigerator that we can not hold indefinitely and have tried to return the sanitized and serviced refrigerator to the client.

1. We are willing to pay the client $200 to replace the depreciated refrigerator.
2. Additionally, the refrigerator in our possession may be returned.
3. We have already stated that the client may discuss these terms with our attorney and have given the client our attorney's contact information to resolve this matter.

Great experience so far! You will definitely be my go-to in case we have any other problems with with flooding. We are so glad we called Servpro. 

I very seldom write a review, but after having my bathroom flood and having to call a company to come out and fix it, I felt I just had to say something about Servpro and also to say thank you for coming out at such short notice and for leaving my home in tip top shape.

Servpro is without a doubt the company to call if there is ever any fire damage in your home. They really take care of their customers.

We were referreed by a friend when we discovered mold in the home. We did not panic, because we were told Servpro would take care of everything and in some cases we also were told that they would help with the insurance claim. They made our lives so simple and we are glad we did make that call.

5 star company. They make sure the job is done to perfection, make sure that the customer is happy and the rates are not bad either.

Servpro WP wants to charge for services not rendered. I have tried resolving for two months. They are threatening collections. Overcharging.
I have a dispute with the ServPro WinterPark Florida who are threatening collections for services not rendered. WP is charging me for 8 fans when 4 fans were placed & padding removal not removed. I brought this to their attention upon bill receipt & they did not respond for weeks. Now they are demanding payment. The chief on the assignment said I was signing an estimate & that the details would be finalized later. Then I spoke to supervisor in office & he expected it to be in the $1300 ballpark but the invoice was over $2300. The details of invoice have errors. I sent a request for correction & everything goes silent for weeks. Winterpark claims they have removed errors but there is still square footage of padding removal and addtl 4 fans never placed. Can you please help? The franchise is Servpro of Winter Park 407-678-5391 Contact me at your earliest convenience. Note in the attached they mention pictures but it is only pictures of the estimate and not what actually happened. I am willing to pay the invoice less the extra blowers and less the padding removal in the guest room.

Desired Outcome

I would like ServPro to adjust the bill in accordance with what actually happened and not their estimate. There were four fans on site. I was onsite and I saw them and had to move them out of my way a couple times. There were two dehumidifiers. There was not 52 feet of padding removed from the guest room. I have offered to meet them onsite on January 2 to show them that the site is too small for 8 blowers. Additionally, I do not want them to send this dispute to collections. I have an excellent credit rating and should not be penalized because they have an error in their invoice.

Disclosure & Billing Practices. SERVPRO never disclosed that they would be a charge for an estimate on my Hrurrican Irma damage to my home !
I called several companies for estimate on my home to include SERVPRO. I scheduled appointment which they were repeatively late (4) hours, finallyr rep arrived he proceeded to give me an estimate, he or SERVPRO never disclosed any fees for this estimate, also I initially contacted SERVPRO on a recommendation of Col.Vicente who had use SERVPRO & he stated that they never charge an estimate fee . After reviewing forms which I initially signed , but I questioned the scope of work , ,billing issues ( cash or check ) upfront , no insurance accepted after which Servpro rep stated that wouldn't be able to do work required & left . I called & wrote to SERVPRO several times after recievng a $282.54 initials invoice; they tried to high pressure , threading me a collection agency .I wrote /called several times & disputed these charge & requested to speak with Manger or Freanchise owner, which to date they haven't contacted me .

Desired Outcome

Cancel bill & stop any credit or collection agency actions !
