Work near the North Hills Sesame In, we often go there for group lunches. Normally it was fine. But today was the worst experience,, We went for lunch, which is normally one hour. It was 20 minutes into our hour, nothing. No one came to the table. One of my friends went to talk to the hostess, and still nothing. Finally after almost 30 minutes a rude waitress came to our table. My friend asked for a side of vegetables and was told it was 4.00 when I order it later it was 6.00. When I asked why she was yelling at me like I am supposed to just know the difference. So later I took a break to call and complain and got into an argument with the manager, He had the nerve to explain to me ho a restaurant works. I told him I know how a restaurant works. I asked him if he knew how lunch works, waiting 20 minuets of my hour lunch was unacceptable. He never apologized asked why I waited three hours to complain. Again I explain the whole hour for lunch issue and he said nothing he can do. I said you just lost 8 regular customers and he said that was fine.He said I should of said something when I was there. He was rude, arrogant and condescending. Dude you manage a small time Chinese restaurant, and clearly not well. Customer service was non existent. The food is not that great it's average, but it was convenient. I am happy he is fine with loosing regular customers, because he just did.I will be telling everyone to stay away from the mediocre eatery with rude management and staff. Bye I wish they had a zero rating.

I have purchased several times from the McMurray location of this restaurant with good results. The takeout I ordered this evening was horrible. I ordered 4 dinners and 2 California rolls (excellent) however, the 4 dinners were the opposite. 3 of the entrées contained chicken that was so tough it was inedible. The vegetables in all were cooked to the point they were mush. The orange chicken was so drenched in sauce the breading had fallen off by the time I arrived home. This was not a cheap meal and it was a total waste of money. I could understand if one of the entrees were off the norm, but all 4? I don't know if I will be returning again.

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for contacting us...

regarding the customer complaint ID # [redacted]
We did receive a call from the customer on 7/5/2014.
She had ordered take-out dinner that evening, and after she went home and started eating, she found a piece of foreign object in the meal. The customer requested a full refund on the credit card she paid with.
I personally talked to her on the phone. I apologized for the issue immediately and offered her store credit for her entire meal. However, she was not interested in receiving store credit and wanted a full refund. I explained to her that in order to receive a full refund, she would need to bring the remaining food back to the restaurant, not right away, but on any day at her convenience. We would also like to examine the piece of foreign object found in the food, to better communicate and educate our kitchen staff of the issue. But she refused to bring the remaining meal back and insisted that we refunded her credit card. I continued to explain that it was our company policy, that we needed the food back in order to give her the money back, but we were more than happy to issue her store credit right at the spot. She was not happy and did state that she would call Revdex.com before hanging up the phone.
We are very sorry for this to have happened. Food quality and customer satisfaction are very important to us. We are still more than happy to offer the customer store credit for the amount of $20.67, but it is against our company policy to issue a refund without the food returned.
If you have any questions or concern, piease feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.
Thank you.

Review: I ordered take-out for dinner on 7/5/2014 and paid with a credit card. I drove home and half-way through the meal, I found a fingernail clipping in my food - could have been in the rice or the chicken and shrimp dish. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. After I voiced my complaint and requested a refund, the manager refused to refund my money unless I brought the half-eaten food back to the restaurant. I refused to waste additional time and money returning the food. He did not apologize, offer me a replacement meal, or offer me a gift card. He asked me "Are you sure it's not a piece of plastic?" At one point he laughed at me and he simply kept repeating, "How I give you money back with no food?" I eventually told him to forget it, said I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, and hung up.Desired Settlement: I want the charge refunded to the credit card that I paid with.
