Review: I contracted with Mr. [redacted] to perform two jobs at my home: the first, to turn the overgrown jungle on my back hillside into a maintenance-free, non-weed inhabited area through the installation of plants that would take over the area; the second involved improvement of a weed patch directly in front of my front door, including planting a tree in it, removal of an apple tree and replacing it with a tulip tree. The only portions of the job that were successful were the removal of the apple tree and the placement of the tulip tree. The backyard hillside remains a hideous disaster, a large area which must be weeded every few weeks in order to avoid being an overgrown mess. The tree that was planted in the patch in front of the front door quickly dies and was ultimately removed by a [redacted] crew. I immediately notified Mr. [redacted] of the problems. His response was to provide an estimate of $1190 to remedy them, including a weeding. I was appalled at the cost to remedy the problem after having just paid for a costly project. I have contacted Mr. [redacted] almost every year since to advise of continuing problems with the weed-infested hillside./ For years, he told me to be patient, that the plants he installed would take over the yard. That has not happened and now I am a forgotten and ignored customer. Over the years, the company provided two complimentary weedings, which was a short-term solution, placing a bandage on a gaping wound. It is apparent that the company is not capable of or is not interested in remedying the matter, to satisfy me, and to fulfill what it contracted to do.Desired Settlement: Refund of $9300 paid.
