Review: This company is very rude and deceiving. I put a deposit down of $200 and was charged a fee that was not disclosed of 6% for a credit card charge. I called them to pay the balance and I was surprised by the fee and said I would call back, I was clearly upset with the fee not being disclosed. [redacted] at the business then called me on my cell phone cursing at me because he claimed I was rude to a receptionist, which was 100% inaccurate. I explained to him what happened and he didnt care, he was the one that did not disclose the fee. I said I wanted to cancel the reservation because of their rude business and he said he couldn't give back the deposit because it was under contract. I never signed a contract, received a receipt or anything of the sort.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund back since I never signed a contract and I will not be using their service based on their customer service.

To Whom It May Concern,

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted]. I, [redacted], did speak with him when he originally booked the vehicle for his wedding. While speaking with him I gave him a price of $850.00 for a 10 passenger vehicle to which he asked if he could get a better price as he was budgeting for his wedding. There are not many times that we give discounts for one vehicle. If he were renting two, then he would possibly get a discount but in any event, I took off $150.00 for the only vehicle he rented over the phone which was a White Chrysler 300. As you know, majority of this business is done over the phone. He agreed to final price of $700.00 and provided his credit card number for a $200.00 deposit with a 13% fee attached to it. His card was charged $226.00 and at no point in time did he ever call the office to dispute that charge. He then called the office recently to inquire about his balance which was $500.00 and spoke with [redacted]. When he was advised of the balance he advised her that he wished to charge the balance on his credit card he provided. When he was told that the total charge would be $565.00 with the additional fee included, his response to her was " I wish that [redacted] guy would have told me that before" and gave her a hard time on the phone as to the 13% fee. The fee is the cost of the tax and a service charge which he obviously knew about before since he didn't question it when he was first originally charged. I then called him back on his phone and questioned him as to why he was speaking to her in the tone he did and to inquire what his problem was with the balance. After speaking with him it became clear to me that he did not wish to pay the 13% fee and wanted an explanation as to why he had to pay the sales tax and the service fee that he already paid prior. I advised him that, as I explained to him when he originally booked the vehicle, if he paid the balance on a charge card he would be charged a gain. His response was not to worry as he was going to pay cash. Since he changed his mind and decided to pay the balance on his charge card he was going to be charged the 13%. He didn't like the fact that he had to pay the fee again and wished to cancel. I advised him that he could cancel but was not going to get his deposit back as it is our policy not to refund deposits. He stated he wanted his deposit back and that he did not receive a contract. I stated to him that he did not receive his contract because he failed to provide his itinerary several times as requested. A copy of what we do have has since been mailed to him which is his contract as well as his credit card receipt with only his name, address and credit card number he provided. He did not sign his credit card receipt because since he provided a North Carolina address and this transaction was done over the phone he was to sign the receipt on the day of his wedding. We have done this with thousand s of people throughout the years and there has never been a problem. After reading this response I think you would see that he just did not want to pay the sales tax and the fee so therefore decided to cancel. If you wish to see a copy of the contract please advise how you would want me to send it to you and I would gladly do so.
