Ourresponse includes the following:Cooling System - Our cooling system was checked prior to their arrival and was working properly. Wereceived a phone call from our property manager and from guests on Saturday morning,that there were problems with the cooling system. Immediately we called a repairman.After calling the repairman, we went out and purchased a portable cooling system asanother way to make the customers comfortable just in case the cooling system was notrepaired.-We paid almost $400 for the cooling system and drove 75 miles one way to deliver theportable cooling system to the facility. We did not have permission from the guests toenter the facility because they were away when we arrived with the alternate coolingsystem. The system was new and required taking it out of the box and plugging in forusage. Mechanical failure was not expected. The response from the guest was "did youexpect us to take the unit out of the box". The temperature in Nelsonville was a high of75 and low during the night was 59. The guest were out most of the day with family.During their stay they made use of electric, water, etc. Also, there was no appreciationfor us providing an alternate cooling system. The guests complained many times to ourproperty managers, phone calls to me a voicemail that in still on my phone, and also anemail.We will refund $159. However, this is in addition to $400 spent on a cooling system to comfortthe guests.
