Review: On or about 4/21/14, I contacted [redacted] to provide an estimate for tree work(cutting down 3 trees, limb removal, pruning, and root grinding)to be performed at my house. I have used him 2-4 times in the past 3 -4 years. He came to my house on 4/22/14 and we reviewed the services to be performed and negotiated a price of $1800 to be paid upon completion. He was to return on either 4/23/14 or 4/24/14 and when he did not, I contacted him on 4/25/14. He said he would reschedule for 4/28-4/29 but he again did not show so I called on 4/30. He apologized and said he had injured his hand but he would return on 5/5. This was a problem for me in that I would be travelling and not there to observe the work so I left a detailed map of all we had agreed to and left it with my wife, I have a copy. He did come that day and he partially performed the work, he did not prune a crepe myrtle because the delay in starting the work caused us to miss the window for pruning. He did not prune 4 large hollies in the front of my house that we had agreed upon, when we did the initial walk through, we reviewed the shapes for them after pruning. He also did not grind a root that was in the lawn from one of the trees he removed. Even though my wife gave him the map, when he partially completed the job he asked her for payment. In that she was on a business phone call, she could not inspect the work and she paid him. When I returned on 5/9, I mowed the lawn and saw that he had not completed the job and I called him and he agreed he was to do those items but forgot and he would return on 5/12/14./ I have now called him twice without response and emailed him this morning that I contacting your agency.Desired Settlement: There was no reduction in price for not pruning the crepe myrtle and he can either reimburse me $50 or do in kind pruning. He can return and prune the hollies, grind the roots or reimburse me $300 which it will cost me to have someone else do the job. He also needs to realize that I have been a good customer for several years and his customer service and follow up is nonexistent.

Do the work immediately or reimburse me $350.
