2/25/Dear [redacted] , I’m reaching out regarding case # [redacted] We spoke to the person who submitted the complaint on February 9th following your notice.After speaking with our Head of Products, he now understands the following: • When he attempted to login, his login failedThis is why he was asked for his credit card information- because he had not successfully logged into his account• His calls did in fact go to a full voice mailWe are a growing startup with registrations growing by 50% each quarterOur Head of Products planned on taking calls while visiting family abroad and realized too late that his voice mail was fullWe're in the process of hiring new client services reps to keep pace with growth• In the approx weeks between signing up on Jan 13th and submitting his complaint on February 4th, he was sent leads free of chargeHe was unavailable for all but oneHe spoke to the customer, booked the service, and we deducted the $charge from his deposit• We send free lead previews and only charge per live conversationCharges can be withdrawn from a deposit account as he chose, or businesses can be billed after each conversationOtherwise, the service is free of chargeAgain, with regard to the customer's complaint that we failed to deliver leads, the customer now understands that while he deposited $100, he had not been charged for $worth of leadsWe sent free leads, and he paid $only for the lead he spoke to, and, as it turns out, booked withTo clarify, we do not make promises regarding how many conversations businesses will have and how quicklyWe only promise that they won't be charged unless they doWhen consumers use our service, we send free lead previews to a handful of matching companies in their areaBusinesses pay nothing unless they have a conversation with a consumer following a free lead previewMost of our businesses opt for Pay-As-You-Go, being billed a flat rate for each conversation 1-days after they occur and are verifiedHowever, the customer in question chose to add $to his account and have charges deducted insteadOn Jan 13th, weeks prior to submitting the complaint, the business in question spoke to and successfully booked a service with a customerHe was charged $for that conversationThe service, even with the $deposit, had already paid for itself and then someWe refunded him the remaining balance of $He confirmed receipt of the [redacted] refundPer our discussion with the customer, we expect that he will retract his complaintPlease see that the attached email correspondence indicates the customer’s intent to retract his complaintI would appreciate your assistance as he proceeds to do soThank you,Manpreet S(President)
