Seven Brothers, Inc. Reviews (3)

I understand that *** *** has a version of her story that she chooses to stick with Unfortunately, her story is untrue and other things she has said are completely false Her reckless allegation that I am a "debarred" lawyer, smeared all over the Internet is absolutely and has damaged my name, reputation and livelihood Legal action will be forthcoming This is not a he said/she said issue; this is either a true statement or a statement And the fact is, it is a statement.*** *** has published a and misleading version of the events leading up to her complaint that she has filed with you In that publication, she has asked the public to review my business based on her experience and give it the lowest possible ratings, and to republish her and misleading story In turn, that has happened in volume, which has also damaged my reputation and my business Her response that triggered this reply continues the pattern of and misleading When her friend brought her car on Tuesday, he ordered and received a car wash before raising any problem or concern that he sought to be addressed He helped himself to the service He came here with no money Clearly, he never had any intention to pay When he refused to pay, the threats began from *** *** on the phone. When the police became involved, and *** *** requested that they take action to return her vehicle to them, they took no such action That's because I had the legal right to retain possession until I was paid Even *** ***'s last response admits as much She says that several police officers were here and I did not return the car to her prior to receiving payment, even though that's what she wanted the police to make happen Had she been entitled to have her vehicle returned, the police would have charged me with a crime and returned the car to her. They did no such thingThey agreed that I had the right to retain possession pending payment. There's not much more to add to these events except to suggest that you read what she wrote online You can see it on wayne auto spa's facebook page Note that her online version has caused the readers thereof to believe that she personally washed her car here, was unhappy and made herself clear immediately, had the car rewashed during the same visit with permission from the business, and then was charged a second time for the rewash after all that occurred Even her story to you now squarely contradicts the online version And that's because her stories are purposely and misleading, just like her slanderous publication that I am a debarred lawyer

Unfortunately, in the world in which we live, people can write anything they choose, even if it's false, and can purposefully and wrongfully cause damage. That's exactly what [redacted] has chosen to do. [redacted] has purposefully misrepresented the facts in order to continue to slander my business...

and my reputation.  Among other things, in addition to lying about the events that lead to this complaint, she has been recklessly posting online that I am a "debarred" lawyer.  First, I am not.  Second, there is only one reason to do that  To  impugn my character and reputation in an effort to damage me and my business. That's completely consistent with her false story that is the subject of this complaint, and exactly  her purpose here.  The simple fact is that her friend brought her car to wash it.  He put the car in the wash.  He had no money at all with him, clearly indicating that he never had any intention of paying.  He told the cashier, as our services were being delivered, that he would not pay.  The car wash should be free because he didn't like how it was cleaned the day before. He did that, it seems, because he preferred to ask forgiveness for rewashing  figuring he could get that wash for free if he just took it, rather than conferring with a manager in advance to address any legitimate concerns he might have had. I explained that helping himself to a free car wash, whether or not there was an issue with a prior service, is not an appropriate way to handle the situation.  I asked him what he thought was fair.  Only at that point  he called [redacted] on the phone.   [redacted] then threatened me.  She told me if the car wash isn't completely free, she will trash me online and try to  ruin my business.   She has done exactly that, by posting this "story" that bears only vague resemblance to the facts.  And by posting, falsely, that I am a "debarred" lawyer.   She called the police to try to get me to release her car without requiring payment. The police refused.  In New Jersey, when a business delivers service to an automobile, the service provider may  retain possession of the  auto until they are paid.  That's the law.  I was not required to return the car.  Instead, she was required to pay for the service.   Had these events occurred say at a [redacted] (or her friend) would have left in handcuffs for shoplifting.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
This business owners defense is faulse. The police did not refuse. As a matter of fact they called in a supervisor, who was unsuccessful in getting the keys back. Then, they called in ANOTHER supervisor. FOUR police total. The police requested he return my keys and he would not. I can provide the police report. They police actually  gave me a ride back to the police station to file a car theft report. This business owner is in fact using a mechanics law which doesn't apply. He referenced himself as a lawyer and readily had available this mechanics lien statue. He also failed to mention, that my friend approached his employee and explained the problem. The problem in which we paid for a "gold service wash" and my car came out dirty. When was asked for them to rectify it.. The employee said which package did you get, and he replied gold. Then , his employee sent it through the car wash( it goes on a conveyer belt and you need to exit your vehicle. It's not a self serving car wash) then the owner was called over and said we had to pay. He would honor a $5 discount which is the coupon value we had used. In addition, my friend [redacted] didn't call me. I called him to check in and he relayed the message. I also didn't threaten him. I advised him that if he charged me for the re-wash, I would never return as a customer. I also advised him that social media is a powerful thing and that I would be sharing my story.the police acknowledged my car was still dirty. This man is infact a "debarred" laywer. Public records show he is in fact admin ineligible. The word "debarred means "ineligible".over 750 people have shared this story and hundreds of comments have come forward of this mans poor practice, horrible customer service.rude behavior ,theft by deception, violation of civil rights, and now wrongfully withholding my property.
Regards,
