I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This is simply not true. As previously stated, the tech I spoke to did not include the labor charge in the oral estimate given to me. And, as previously stated, I repeated the total back to him several times to verify the amount. Anyway, I'm done with this. I don"t expect anything from this company. replaceCord 24.00 Labor to install Cord 18.50 Total PartS 39.00 Total Labor 32.50 Tax 3.12 Total estimate S74.62The customer did not want us to replace the bag and the cord and was given a price without these items which was a total of $28.04, which he approved.Then customer changed his mind and wanted us to replace the Cord but not the bag. The estimate was $72.46. This estimate was approved and the work was done.When the customer came in to pick up his vacuum cleaner, he refused to pay for the labor charge to replace the cord, in the amount of $18.50. We took off the new cord and put his old cord back on his vacuum. The customer is expecting us to replace the electrical Cord without paying for the $18.50 labor charge to put it on. This is unreasonable request and we do not feel obligated to do so. He was charged the $28,04 to do the work that the customer originally agreed for us to do. Contrary to what he claims, the $18.50 labor charge was definitely included in the original estimate given to him which included replacing the Cord. When replacing parts is involved we must charge a fee to replace the parts. This takes additional time to do and requires an additional charge.Respectfully, [redacted]
