Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint
First you are lying about when I contacted you about the problems with the dressI picked up the dress from you at 11am Wednesday July 16thMy first text to you about how the dress was shorter on one side than the other was at 2:50pm on Wednesday July 16thSAME DAY I PICKED IT UP! Exact message was" I had "my daughter" put the dress on and practice in it and I noticed the bottom is shorter on the left sideHere is a pic." At 9:50pm Wednesday July 16th I again text you because I didn't receive any response from you on the earlier textYou told me at 10:12pm that you did not so I Immediately sent the same text with a picture again. At 10:16pm Wednesday you stated that it's coming up media content and you don't have data on your phone and to email it to you. I said I will Now and you said ThanksI did not hear from you anymore that nightAt 9:am Thursday July 17th I text you and asked if you received the pic I emailed youAt 9:55am you said you would check, I said thanksNo response again from you and at 2:19pm Thursday I sent you this text "I'm not happy how the bottom of the dress turned out and there is no time to fix itI've sent u a pic and waiting to hear from you about it." At 2:27pm you sent that you never received picture and asked if I could come by that night to look at it. I told you we didn't have time because we were leaving Friday morning for the pageant and we had lots to do that night to get readyAlso I want to note that the dress was suppose to be ready for me to pick up Saturday July 12thI dropped it off to you on June 16th. I received a call from you Saturday morning that you were having problems the NIGHT BEFORE and needed my daughter to put it on that Saturday July 12th that I was suppose to be picking it up so you could cut the bottomMy daughter put it on Saturday July 12th and you cut the dressTold me I could get it TuesdayMind you, this is later than I wanted to get the dress in case there were problemsI had scheduling issues on Tuesday July 15th so had to reschedule to pick up Wednesday July 16th. Now back to the textYou text me At 2:45pm Thursday July 17th and asked "Exactly what is the problem with it?" I had already told you in separate text and had to once again tell you at 2:54pm Thursday July 17th that the left side is higher than the right side in the backI did not hear from you at all! I had to text you again at 9:32pm July 17th and at this point I was extremely upsetMy text stated "I would like a refund for the amount I paid for the hemIt's not right and I shouldn't have to pay for it." No response till Friday July 18th at 7:46amYou said you totally agree with you and that you would like to see what happened and see where the error occurred especially since you cut it while she had it onYou said you once again checked your email and still didn't receive the picturesAt 9am Friday July 18th I asked what your email was to make sure I sent to the correct one, which I didI also stated that her grandma was going to try and fix it today (Friday July 18th) before her formal wear division. At 9:12am you said great thanks so much and gave me your email address againI Immediately responded and said sent picture againYou said Thank youI never heard from you at all until once again I text youYou never contacted me to let me know you received the picturesThe only time you would respond is if I text you firstSo, on Monday July 21st at 9:01am after the pageant was over I text you and said her grandma fixed the dress and I have the before and after pictures of what she had to do to fix it, and once again asked if you received the pictures and wanted to know if you had Paypal to refund my or if you would mail me a checkAt 10:38am July 21st you said you would mail me a check and to give you my addressYou said to thank her grandma and asked how the pageant wentYou said you would refund promptly and that you still didn't receive the pictures and gave me another email addressI gave you my information at 10:41am Monday July 21st and told you how she did. I told you I would try sending them againOn Tuesday July 22nd at 3:05pm I told you I sent pics again, you said you would check right awayI said Thank youOn Wednesday July 23rd at 12:46pm you said you finally got the picture and you saw the problemTold me to thank her grandma for assistingYou said you totally did not see that at all when she tried it on and you guessed it was because of the fullness of the dressGlad you got to see the pictureOn Thursday July 24th I text and said glad you got to see pics and to let me know when you mail the checkNever heard from you againOn Sunday July 27th at 5:19pm I send a text saying "HiDid you get the check mailed?" You never respondedOn Monday July 28th at 8:53am I text you again "I text you yesterday and didn't hear backDid you mail out my check? I need it by FridayYou responded right away and said yes I should have it todayI said thank you and you said your welcomeThen at 12:13pm Monday July 28th I text you and said "I got the check today but it should be for $not $10! I want refunded for everything that you did to the bottom of that gown which totals $60! And I have my receipt that I received when I picked up the dress that shows this total. You came back and said "No further refund!" That is what I charged for the outer layer and this is what needed repairedNo other layers were affected" I replied, very upset, "I paid for what you did to the bottom of the dress and I expect to be refunded The bottom that you cut and the tulle you say you cut messed up the dressI have my original receipt that shows $with no break down like you just sentThat's not right! I will be expecting $by Friday!" And your reply "Nope sorryYou see the invoice and the intake sheetIt is self explanatoryEvery Layer was priced separately" I don't agree at all with thisFor one it did not have any kind of break down on my receiptI now know the only reason she wanted to see pictures of the dress is so she could make up a receipt with a break down that is untrue so she didn't have to refund me the full $I don't care what the "fake" receipt you sent me with my "insulting" $refundI know what my receipt says that I have when I picked up the dressThe tulle you cut on the bottom was terrible alsoMy daughter was stepping on all of it and her grandma had to cut all of that alsoThere was no problems with the bottom of that dress until you butchered it! $is what my receipt states for the bottom of the dress, so I want the remaining $owed to meReally it needs to go to my mother-in-law for all the work she had to do to repair your mess ups! I have all the pictures, all the texts, and my receipt showing proof!
Regards,

The complaint filed is true except it is distorted in the fact that there were 7 layers to the dress hem. Each layer was a 10.00 charge coming to 70.00 not 60.00. Which I only charged the customer 60.00.  This is an ordinary and common practice for alterations .  Due to the fact that...

only 1 of the 7 layers was uneven, I gave the customer back the 10.00 that was owed for the layer of the dress that was uneven.  I did not recieve a text  or e mail from the costomer that the hem was uneven until the day before the pageant took place so that I was unable to fix the dress. I was very willing to repair the dress. I always guarentee my work.  I would have gladly repaired the dress had I recieved a text in reference to the problem.
The only text I recieved from the customer was "data in text" and I don/t recieve data on my phone.  There was no indication for over a week from the customer that there was a problem. I thought that she was trying to send me a picture of the dress so that I could post it on my web site.  I therefore did send her a message that I did not recieve data on my phone and to e mail the picture to me.  I finally recieved a text a day before the pageant that indicated a problem which by then was too late to repair.
I checked e mails to my yahoo account which I did not recieve any pictures .  I then told her to send pictures to my mail .com account and then recieved the pictures.  I have done everything I can to please this customer and sent the full refund for that layer of the hem that I did hem.  there were 6 other layers of the dress that were perfect and were not refunded.
Most Sincerely,
Cyndi Patterson
