In October of 2014 I meet with [redacted] to review her clothing designs with my mother [redacted]. I saw some pieces that she made and was very pleased with her work. I then decided to hire her make custom dresses and cloaks for myself and bridal party for my wedding December 28, 2014. Saturday October 25, 2014, the entire bridal party went to [redacted] home and got our measurements taken in the apartment complex's club house located at or near [redacted] or [redacted] around 7PM. (Both of these addresses are associated with [redacted] home and leasing office she provided on her business cards). I, along with the bridal party, my mother, and wedding planner met Ms. [redacted] at the time and place specified. Ms. [redacted] measured each of us and then informed us that we would have to pay her in full before she could start on the dresses. The cost of the dress was $125 and the capes were priced at $80 for each bridesmaid. Leaving each of the bridesmaids responsible for a total of $205. [redacted] was also in charge of making my bridal cap ($195), Bridal reception dress ($180), 2 flower girls capes ($100), the hostess dress ($125) and the hostess cape ($60). The total for all custom made pieces totaled out to be $1275. The cost of pieces stated above does not include fabric purchased by myself for the bridesmaids dresses. Prior to our arrival, I paid Ms. [redacted] a deposit on the items; it was Ms. [redacted]'s expectation that we would have the remainder of the funds at the time of the fitting appointment (see attached emails for details). Two of the bridesmaids ([redacted] and [redacted]) paid for their bridesmaid dresses and capes and I paid for the remainder $865. December 5, 2014 I met with Ms. [redacted] at her residence to pic up the capes for the me and my Bridal party. Once I arrived to her place of residence I was not pleased with the work done. The capes were not designed or lined according to the agreement that was made. She expressed that she would redo the work (I have a recording of this conversation). Ms. [redacted] stated that she would redo the work and will have all of the items (dresses and capes) ready for pick up on Saturday December 13, 2014. Prior to arrival at her house she communicated to me that she would not make the appointment b/c her mother was in the hospital. Several hours later she expressed to me that she will drop off the items and give us a full refund for everything even if she has to pay us in installments. Since then, I have tried countless times to contact Ms. [redacted]. The wedding was held on December 28th as planned but I had to purchase replacement dresses for all of my bridal party including myself off the rack just days before the wedding. I posted a complaint on her [redacted] page BUT she removed her social media account ([redacted]), and has failed to respond to email requests for a refund. She provided us with two phone numbers for contact, [redacted] & [redacted]. She fails to answer the first number, and the latter has been disconnected.Product_Or_Service: Bridal party dresses and capesDesired SettlementRefund of the full amount of all the dresses and capes for my entire bridal party. I also think she is responsible for the replacement dresses I had to purchase at the last minute in the amount of $150 for each bridesmaid (total $450). The total sum calculated is $1,725.

In October of 2014 my best friend asked me to be her Maid of Honor for her wedding December 28, 2014. She informed me and the rest of the bridal party that she wanted us to purchase custom made dresses and cloaks from a designer her mother met at a local fabric store. She told us the designer's name is [redacted] and that we were to meet her at her place of business, [redacted] on Saturday October 25, 2014 at 7PM. I, along with the bridal party, the bride's mother, and the bride's wedding planner met Ms.[redacted] at the time and place specified. Ms.[redacted] measured each of us and then informed us that we would have to pay her in full before she could start on the dresses. The cost of the dress was $125 and the capes were priced at $80, leaving each of the bridesmaids responsible for a total of $205. Prior to our arrival, [redacted] collected $62.50 from each of us (half of the cost of the dress) and paid Ms.[redacted] a deposit on our behalf; it was Ms.[redacted]'s expectation that we would have the remainder of the funds at the time of the fitting appointment (see attached emails for details). On that day , [redacted] (the bride's Matron of Honor) paid Ms.[redacted] a total of $130 ($62.50 on my behalf, and $62.50 on her own behalf, Mrs. [redacted] accidentally overpaid her by $5 on that day, but the overpayment was reconciled a couple days later see attached files for clarification). On October 31, 2014 Mrs. [redacted] and I paid the final balance of $155 for both of our dresses. In all I paid Ms.[redacted] a total sum of $205. Ms.[redacted] promised to have the work completed by December 13, 2014. On Saturday December 13, 2014 we made arrangements to meet Mrs.[redacted] at her place of employment, 15 minutes before our appointment she informed the bride that she was not going to be able to make the appointment because her mother was in the hospital. Several hours later she expressed to the bride that she will give us a full refund for everything even if she has to pay us in installments (the bride has a recording of this conversation). Since then we have tried countless times to contact Ms.[redacted]. The wedding was held on December 28th as planned but we had to purchase replacement dresses off the rack just days before the wedding. After several failed attempts to reach her for a refund, I visited her place of employment only to learn that it was the address to a leasing office. I have tried to visit her website, www.sewego.com, which was fully operational on the date we established our agreement, but since then has been removed. She has also removed her social media account ([redacted]), and has failed to respond to email requests for a refund. She provided us with two phone numbers for contact, 919-[redacted] & 919-[redacted]. She fails to answer the first number, and the latter has been disconnected.Product_Or_Service: Custom fit & flare dress with cloakDesired SettlementI'd like a full refund of $205, the amount I paid for the dress. I'd also like her to pay the price of the replacement dress and cloak that I never received.
