I am in receipt of your letter concerning the above customer identificationIn reviewing our information, it was found that your customer did submit an intent to vacate, however no keys were returned. The unit was checked on October 10, and found to be empty, resulting in a pro-rate rent
amount of $being withheld from the security deposit for the period October through October 10, 2015. This customer also did not provide a forwarding address as is required for refund of the security deposit. Per your letter, we now have the customer’s forwarding addressAt the time of move-in, the customer paid a security deposit of $440. With the $deduction, the customer is entitled to a refund of $315, which was erroneously shown as due from the tenant instead of due to the tenant. We are requesting a check in the amount of $from our accounting office on today’s date to be forwarded to the customer.
