This company was very unprofessional so we cancelled service They filed a complaint and it appears it was determined we did not owe them any money because we deducted our $from the $they paid and they refused to take the remaining $

I contracted SF Consulting to bid a VA project for me in Chillicothe, OH. The final portion of the bid was submitted 2 minutes before the deadline. The bid was incomplete, was submitted in "Dropbox" which required invitations for the GC's to get access. The whole mess was a fiasco that made my company look bad. I actually sent a formal apology to the GC's that were counting on my numbers. Stacy did not provide me with a receipt for the transaction. I've asked several times for it. I asked for a refund due to the untimeliness of the bid submission, she said she would give me credit for a "Portion" of the cost . The credit being towards more of her services. She has since told me that she would bid projects for free until I won one, which I'm scared to do because I think she'll just lowball it. She didn't make a single deadline that we agreed to for any portion of the bid. She made excuses followed by promises and hasn't delivered in a meaningful way, on any of it yet. I will never use SF Consulting again and would caution anyone else from using them. It was a complete waste of time and money.

I am rejecting this response because: It clearly shows in my response I went to [redacted] card services for help. As noted in SF Johnson's 5/15/17 she was respectfully willing to refund the money. As noted in her 8/10/17 emails subject line she is no longer respectfully willing. Only want the disputed amount of $541.42. [redacted] Card Services was already able to resolve the other amount that SF Johnson did nor respectfully refund.

This EX-client is a FRAUD... I performed OVER $1600 in estimating services as I have for 100's of clients in 8 years (WITH NOT ONE COMPLAINT BY THE WAY).  He SAYS he NEVER received the work, he DID.. if he is NOT intelligent enough to understand, NOT MY FAULT.  BUT this crooked...

individual got his money back by telling his credit card company he never got the work he did and for over 25 hours of work.  I can send you the emails.  SO HE CAN KISS MY [redacted]@! Thank you!Tell us why here...

SF Johnson has resolved this issue through [redacted]. Full refund was received. Please consider this complaint closed. Feel free to contact me and thank you for your help.Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: We refused...

the offer of a $20 refund because the owner of SF Johnson Consulting, [redacted], refused to provide us with proof that she did a Bid for our company. She told us she submitted the bid on our behalf to [redacted] We spoke directly with [redacted], from [redacted]'s Bid department and he informed us that SF Johnson Consulting did not submit a bid for us. We asked [redacted], the owner, to provide some type of proof that she submitted the bid. She refused. We asked for a refund. She refused. She wanted to speak with me, [redacted], directly so I called. She spent the entire conversation berating my wife. [redacted], and SF Johnson Consulting are the unprofessional business in this relationship. I don't believe an Engineering Degree is required to understand that a contract was signed for her to provide a service for us. She failed to provide any service, she failed to provide proof, she lied about submitting a bid for us, and then she refuses correspondence because we dare to expect some type of proof for this alleged service. We issued a claim thru [redacted]. [redacted] was not able to decide in our favor because this transaction was not covered under the Use Policy. [redacted] does not cover transactions relating to tobacco, Gambling, or Fraud.  [redacted] referred us to the appropriate law enforcement agency. If [redacted] or SF Johnson Consulting did a bid for us as she stated, then it should have been very easy to provide proof. If she were a reputable business, she would have made every effort to provide us with proof or refund our money when she canceled her own contract. The fact that she is unwilling to provide proof of this service speaks volumes. It should also be noted that the [redacted] payment was allegedly paid into an account for The [redacted] which is a Non-Profit organization also run by [redacted]. If SF Johnson Consulting if a reputable business then we expect a full refund of our payment. It is clear that no service was provided to our company.

This company was very unprofessional so we cancelled service.  They filed a complaint and it appears it was determined we did not owe them any money because we deducted our $179 from the $199 they paid and they refused to take the remaining $20.

Review: Contracted with company to install concrete driveway. Significant cracking across entire width of flatwork and grading issues (pooling around fence post) noticed within 48 hours of install. Company did not apply sub base prior to pouring cement. Attempts at having company correct problem have been unsuccessful.Desired Settlement: Driveway needs to be redone or refund made so that I can hire a reputable company to do the job correctly.

Response:

My firm finds contractors for homeowners. We do not directly do the work. The contractor was paid in full and needs to address this directly. We have made multiple attempts to contact this contractor. The homeowner was advised of this as well. The home owner paid a deposit and we gave it directly to the contractor. The homeowner then paid the contractor the balance and not S F Johnson Consulting. The contractor pays us to post his company and that is all we do.

We will continue to attempt to get the contractor to fix the situation but in now way holds responsibility nor is there any contract between myself and the homeowner. The home owner actually should have filed this against the contractor directly.

Review: We contracted SF [redacted] Consulting to provides a Bid/Estimate for a [redacted] to be built in Lebanon, PA. The Bid was provided as requested. [redacted], the owner, suggested we sign up for her Estimating Service- Contractor's Program 6% so that we could have access to all 3 General Contractor's bidding this project and submit our bid to all 3. This program would also include access thru her service to other commercial projects in our area. The arrangement was that she would inform us of the job and do the estimate and or Bid. We incurred a charge of $199 for this service plus tax and then any winning bid would result in an additional 6% fee(of the estimate). We are unsure if Ms. [redacted] forwarded the names of the other 2 General Contractor's for the [redacted] Project. We have difficulty retrieving attachments on the business email and asked several times that she copy all emails to an additional email address. This never happened. We were unable to submit the Bid to the other 2 GC's for that project. On May 5, we received an email regarding an [redacted] project in Breinigsville, PA. This Bid was due on May 8, 2015. She stated we would have this bid on May 7, 2015. We did not receive this bid. On May 7th, we requested a breakdown of material cost and man hours to accompany the Bid. She stated she could not provide that and wanted to do a Bid Course to discuss how the bids are done. She wanted to do this on May 8th but we were not available at that time. On May 15, 2015 my wife contacted her to set something up as we were now available. We received an email from her stating her refusal to work with us. She also stated we would receive a "portion" of our fee as refund. She insisted on speaking with me and not my wife. I tried several times to reach her on May 18, 2015 and finally did at the end of the day. She was belligerent on the phone so I hung up. She called back with more of the same.Desired Settlement: We simply want a refund of $199.00 plus tax. The total being $215.92 which was paid in good faith by my company on April 28, 2015. We feel Ms. [redacted] failed to provide the service she promised and in fact, provided no services promised under the agreement up until she cancelled her own contract with us on May 15, 2015.
