Shade Tree Powersports Reviews (%countItem)

I received damaged merchandise from Shade Tree Power Sports. I called multiple times to report this and the company told me that they would get with *** for a return and call me back. They never called me back. I contacted them again to get authorization to return the product and they would not return my call. I made 11 calls throughout several different dates and they will not answer or return my calls. My credit card company investigated and in their investigation, Shade Tree Power Sports told my credit card company that I did not return the merchandise. However, each time I called, they would never answer the phone or return the initial call to me that they promise. How could I return the merchandise when they were avoiding my contacts. I called multiple times to get authorization and shipping information to return the product, however, Shade Tree refused to cooperate. I have phone records showing where I continuously contacted this company and they would not respond. I need authorization and a shipping label to return the merchandise and I also need shade tree to correct my credit report because I did not pay my credit card payment due to the item being damaged. My credit is perfect, close to 900 and I need this correction made as well that shows 30-60 late.

My credit is perfect, close to 900 and I need this correction made as well that shows 30-60 late.

Hi ***,

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we were shut down for several weeks due to *** orders from state mandates. It looks like once we spoke last, we sent an email requesting photos of the damage because the shipping company required those for the claim. However, I do not show that we received those. It looks like we can't file a claim since it was never provided. Again, this could have been when we were closed. I have sent you an email just now with a pre-paid *** return label to get the item back to us. Once we get the item back, the returns department issues the credit back to your card. Thank you!

Case # 37185169: Shade Tree Powersports.
I mailed the part off on August 5,2020 after they sent me the return label after making this complaint. They received the package on August 7, 2020 and they still have not reimbursed my card for the refund. This matter has not been resolved and this company is continuing to steal from customers.

Thank you for your message. It looks like the refund in the amount of $153.99 was issued already on this. This went back to the original form of payment. I called the customer directly and he said that he didn't see it on his credit card. I sent him an email with all of the transaction details so he can check with his card issuer to see if there is a hold up on their side. Thank you!

Received Defective Tire. Given the runaround on making it right
purchased back tire for*** Motorcycle on WednesdayJune3, 2020, with a guarantee of delivery on *** June 5, 2020. Didn"t receive tire until Monday June 8, 2020. Mounted tire on Monday, never rode bike, tire shows no wear. came out Tuesday and tire was flat with a huge bubble to the side and bead blown out. contacted*** Store where I purchased tire on Tuesday June 9, 2020, they responded next day that I would have to go through warranty dept..Contacted Warranty dept they said I have to go through Shade Tree Powersports for Warranty and replacement, called Shade Tree Powersports *** June 12, 2020 and spoke with*** XXX-XXX-XXXX. She told me to call XXX-XXX-XXXX. I did they said Shade Tree Powersports is responsible not them and gave me reference #XXXXXXX to give to***. Called*** back and no answer, left message, no return call. I paid $131.60 for a defective tire that has never been on the road. I have sent picture after picture to the warranty dept and to Shade Tree Powersports showing the defective tire.. I have sent numerous pictures of the inside, outside, front and back of said tire. No response from anyone. How can a company sell consumers a defective product and not do anything to help the consumer other than taking my money? I have no tire for my motorcycle and the company that took my money provided me with a defective product and refuses to make it right. Is this how they make their money? Doesnt sound legit to me.Its beginning to look and smell like a scam.

Desired Outcome

At this point I want a full refund. No exchange, I don't trust their products enough to ride a motorcycle down the road with my life at stake. Send a pre paid label and I will send the defective tire back. Full refund please.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, this type of issue is a manufacturer's warranty claim. The customer was directed to the Bridgestone warranty department since on their website it showed they handled the claims. We have not received a picture of the issue. When I called Bridgestone's warranty department and provided them with the reference number provided (XXXXXXX), they said they do not have any record of the proper information being submitted. For the warranty claims, there is a lot of information that they need from the tire. I have the list of that information that they need. If you would like to send me the information needed from the tire, I would be happy to file the claim for you. However, they need this in order to process the claim. Here is a list of the info required:
1) Year, Make, and model of the bike
2) VIN number of the bike
3) Miles when tire was installed
4) Miles when tire was removed
5) DOT stamp of the tire
6) Reason for removal of the tire
7) Name, phone number, and address of dealer/shop who installed the tire
Please send me an email with this information and I will complete the warranty form with the manufacturer. I will ask that they contact me for the claim so I can see what the next step they are requesting will be. Since every warranty claim is handled differently, I will not know how they would like to proceed until they get back to me. Thank you!

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
All of the information *** requested was sent to *** through emails and texts who in return said shade tree was responsible not ***. It's just a 3 month back and forth game that these people are playing with me to keep from admitting they sold a defective product that they don't have the decency to make right. This is pure laziness and not having rightly trained customer service for issues such as this. Blame games need no training. If you can't fully back a product you are selling then plain and simple you have no business selling the product. Shows you really don't care about your customers just the cash they are padding your pockets with. If this company treats all customers this way, I have no idea how they stay in business.

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I don't have access to what was sent to Bridgestone. I am just going off of what the rep told me on the phone. Can you please send me this info:

1) Year, Make, and model of the bike
2) VIN number of the bike
3) Miles when tire was installed
4) Miles when tire was removed
5) DOT stamp of the tire
6) Reason for removal of the tire
7) Name, phone number, and address of dealer/shop who installed the tire

As soon as I have that, I will be able to complete the claim. Thank you!

Trying to get an return authorization and return instructions to return a pkg and either they won't answer the phone or return my calls

Thank you for your message. It looks like this return had previously been authorized and the return instructions were emailed over to ***@bellsouth.net. The customer contacted us letting us know she did not get the original. We then set-up another pre-paid *** return label (tracking#Number***XXXXXXXXXXXXXX) to get the item back. It looks like the customer sent it out on 11/12/19 and we received it back to our returns department on 11/14/19. We inspected it and issued the refund back on 11/15/19. It goes right back to the original form of payment that was used. This typically takes just a few business days. However, each car issuer is different on their particular policies. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you!
