The business owner seemed genuinely concerned about the service at her restaurant and was extremely professional and kind in her interaction with me.  The reason I used Revdex.com was because I did not have confidence management would make her aware of the situation--thus, as a form of communication.  Therefore, please remove any adverse impact my filing with the Revdex.com may have on her business.  Thank you both Revdex.com and Ms. [redacted] for taking the time to look into this matter.

Review: I was overcharged: It's about the principal of the matter, not the amount. When I tried to explain to both hostess and manager they would not correct the matter and refused to provide me with a receipt upon request. Charge Dispute: (I don't have a receipt so this is all by memory now. I'm trying to contact another manager or the owner to obtain my receipt). I ordered the "surf'n burger" - The menu explicitly states to ADD sweet potato fries, and a number of other choices the charge is $1. I ordered fries and got charged the regular price. AND in addition to that option you can also have the option of picking a soup or a salad for $2.50. (NO * was on anything) We picked the lobster bisque. We then later were charged $6.50 or something roughly around that. Staff argued with me about why it wasn't an option. Their menus are laminated and thus they can't change them, which is good. There is no disclaimer that only certain soups may be picked and further there is no * to indicate such. Otherwise, we wouldn't have ordered the $7 soup! The waiter, if he had knowledge of this should have let us known when he ordered. The staff conceded that he did not. Nonetheless, they harassed me about how I should have known. That their policy is to charge more for the lobster bisque. This troubles me. If it is there policy not to tell cus[redacted]ers when they are ordering something more than what is reasonably inferred by their explicit writing on the menu, this is a problem. They argued and stormed away without providing me with a receipt even when I specifically requested one. This should not be a common practice but am afraid it is because my fries were overcharged, my soup was overcharged, and our friends' items were overcharged on her bill as well. Please look into the practices of this business as it seems their policy is to overcharge their cus[redacted]ers. I am disputing the charge once it hits my credit card b/c they refused to make the corrections. Management did nothing.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the amount spent. I want punitive damages for wasting my time. I want an investigation or audit to see if this is common practice and a heavy fine imposed if so.
