Your letter to [redacted] dated June 19, 2017, has been forwarded to me for review and response on behalf of [redacted] , IncWhile we regret hearing that the complainant, [redacted] , had a bad experience at one of our restaurants, we appreciate him bringing the operational issues to our attention so we might proactively addressUntil yesterday, June 28, we were unsure which [redacted] location [redacted] had visited on June 18, Thus, we did not have the opportunity to look into this matter fully up to that pointWe thank you for getting that information for usAs I logged into your system to retrieve your message, however, I noted that [redacted] had rejected an offer for resolutionThough we are presently unaware of any offer that has been made, it is our hope to quickly and amicably resolve this matter with [redacted] In our quick review, we learned that [redacted] and his party along with others did regrettably experience delays in seating and service on June which was Father's DayAs you might suspect, there were several larger parties in the restaurant that day and, with such gatherings, it is understandable that they may linger for a while after their meal for family time and fellowshipThus, determining how long a wait may be for a larger table can be impreciseWe do apologize that the time quoted to [redacted] was exceeded to such an extent and for any subsequent miscommunication that may have extended that time as well as for any delays in the receipt of their food after the seating issue was resolvedWe do note that the [redacted] restaurant that is the subject of [redacted] 's complaint is located within five minutes from the heart of Lackland Air Force base in San AntonioIt follows that members of the military and their families comprise a large percentage of our business at this location, particularly on weekends, and we are honored to be able to provide each and every one of them with our servicesMoreover, with this location on San Antonio's South Side, the surrounding area is characterized by predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods which, too, would be reflected in our guest trafficWhether military or not, and regardless of the color of one's skin, it is our expectation that every guest who comes through our doors will have an enjoyable dining experienceIt is disappointing when we? do not meet that objectiveAccordingly, in an effort to resolve this matter with [redacted] , we invite him to give us another chance with the offer of $in [redacted] Gift CardsAlternatively and with respect to [redacted] 's stated objections, we would provide him with the cash equivalentEither way, we would like [redacted] to know that, while we may have fallen short of our mission with regard to his visit on June 18, we remain committed to our values as the "Classic American Diner" where we respect the feelings of every guest by treating everyone consistently and attentively.Sincerely,
