Review: I purchased a blind from them that was installed on May ** 2013. They told me the blind would keep the light out as well as heat. The next day I was up on 7am sweating in a bright room. I called them to have them either fix the problem or take the product back or upgrade since they told me if I needed any changes it would be done in a few days. No one came to me nor did the salesperson contact me. 4 weeks later they showed up to try and remedy the situation.I had to sweat and lose sleep for 4 weeks! It didn't work. The blind was junk. Too much light and too much heat getting through. I asked to upgrade to a better blind. They said they would give me a credit of $200 towards a new blind but they tried to charge me $200 more for the new blind than any other competitors charged. I offered them to just give me half the price of the blind back($200) and they refused. They never came back. They never made any other offers. They are crooks. I ended up with a new blind from a top Blind company in NY. They said the blind that had been put in and wasn't working was garbage.Desired Settlement: I want a refund. This blind was not what I was told it was and they didn't even try to service me in an ethical way or a professional way(came back a month later)

[redacted] complained that the blind that was installed on May **, 2013 was not installed properly because it didn’t meet his needs for protection against heat and light. Unfortunately, we gave [redacted] exactly what he requested, a blackout shade but that is not what would work in that particular situation. He was told that he needed a blackout shade and a solar shade. Both of those shades would have given him protection from both the heat and light. It was also discussed that we could give him a total

no light system, which would have protected him even more. He insisted upon a single blackout shade, which we gave him. Yes, we were not a diligent as we should have been about fixing the blind, but we can’t fix something that is wrong for the particular situation. The aforementioned system and a combination of the two types of shades would have cost more money that the original blind that he purchased. In [redacted] last line of his complaint, what would another company say about someone else’s work to try and make the customer happy, I am not sure what he purchased from the other company, possibly it was what should have been installed in the first place. We realize that our judgment was in error, by not trying to make this particular customer happy, but he did not make it easy for us to work with him either. Additionally, we gave [redacted] a deeply discounted price of $400 instead of our regular price of $620 (not including tax).
