Purchased horse trailer from shadow in Dec.2015. Began leaking in 2016. Have had it at repair places. Trailer not usable.

Purchased horse trailer in Dec. 2015. Started using it in latasked if could use it in dry camping weather and take it for repairs in late fall, agreed. Tried several times to get it in for repair with Shoaf repair service in Ohio. (Repair service for Shadow) Took it to Knoxville Tenn to another Dealer/repair service in early December, they kept trailer until spring. Brought trailer home in late March 2017. Repair stated the replaced the gasket and put an awning on the slide out. Began camping again in mid summer 2017, began leaking again. Closed up the trailer during rain. Called Shadow once again, could only get into the repair service in Knoxville Tenn. Was able to get trailer in for repair late fall 2017, they kept until early spring. Picked the trailer up, stated they dehumidified the trailer and put a membrane under the flooring. Stated replaced the outside receptacle where it leaked. Nothing had been done. Kept trailer shut up, tried to get trailer to Ohio again with no luck. Spoke with Shawn L from Shadow in Florida, late summer, told me to take anywhere I wanted to get it fixed, they would take care of it. No place within 10 hours of driving distance would work on it. Finally found a place in Ashland, Ky, I was told by warranty dept. to take it there. Took in in January 2020, Shadow told the repair shop to give them an estimate, he did so, now they don't want to honor the continued warranty problem. Was told to get it and bring it to Florida (12hr drive from my home) they would look at it and I would have to pay a percentage of the repairs. There is a bill to be paid at the current repair shop also. I am currently paying for the trailer.

Desired Outcome

Complete repair of the trailer. If they insist on bringing it to Florida, I would like a driver to come to my house and pick it up, then return it when it is done.

My trade in was sold with my camera system still in it. I tried on multiple attempts to collect my camera system, but got no response.
In early September, I traded in my 2-horse bumper pull, 1989 steel Trail-et horse trailer for a brand new 2 horse Shadow StableMate bumper pull horse trailer. It was agreed on between myself and Victoria B via e-mail that I would contact the preferred body shop, to schedule the Trailer-Eyes system installation in my new trailer, as to not void any warranties. Additionally, I was trying to schedule a time to bring up the traded in horse trailer keys and retrieve my camera system, however in my attempts to call and e-mail to schedule a time, my emails went ignored. I have since made contact with Victoria B, only to learn that my trade in was sold, with my camera system. I was never given monetary compensation for the camera system, as it was not included in the trade in value. Now, I am only being offered a discount on a new camera installation. I still have the receiver for the camera that was stolen and sold from me, in my vehicle. It is programmed to work with the camera that was sold in the trade in. Victoria B has told me she has forwarded my concerns and complaints to the branch manager of this particular Shadow Trailer World, and that he would contact me. This was over a month ago - and I never received any call. In my attempts to contact this branch manager directly, I have been denied any direct contact with him.

Desired Outcome

I want a replacement trailer eyes system provided and installed for free and will not settle for less.

In October, Ms. contacted our salesperson regarding a camera that she had left in the trailer that she traded in. At that time, the sale was complete and we had ownership of her trade in and it was at a repair facility for inspection and reconditioning so that we could resell it. We had no problem with Ms *** getting the camera out of the trailer as it was not listed in the trade appraisal form, therefore it had not added any value to her trade. We advised Ms*** that she was welcome to contact the repair facility and she could retrieve the camera. She never expressed the importance of having the camera to us, only that she forgot to get it and wanted it back. Whether she removed the camera or not was not a concern of ours. She did not make contact with us until late February to ask about the camera. By this time we had already sold this trailer. We did not realize that the camera was still in there. We assumed she had it removed. We offered her a camera system that we have at a deep discount to help her out, but she refused.

They were aware of my camera system in the trailer, per the emails between Victoria B and myself. I left Victoria a voicemail over four months ago regarding the camera system when the number she provided never returned my call to get the camera system installed. I was never answered when I could drop the keys off for the trailer either. I am not willing to pay money for a system that you were aware was in the trailer, and failed to communicate with me about. I want a camera system replaced in my new trailer from Shadow Trailer World. Victoria has also failed to communicate regarding the rebate she never provided to me and continues to ignore my emails. Attached is our entire conversation from September when I purchased my new trailer, through this last March 2019.

We really wish that we could come up with a solution acceptable on both sides. I have reached out to the service shop that had the trade in. The service manager had no knowledge or record of the Ms *** calling there. She went thru papers work and missed phone messages and did not find anything with the customer's name or any messages regarding a trailer camera. It was up to Ms*** to contact the shop and she agreed to do that. She informed us months later that she had not retrieved the camera and is now demanding that we reimburse her. We want to be fair and we would like very much to find common ground, however, Ms *** has not given us any inclination of a compromise yet.

I looked into the "rebate" that Ms *** mentioned and there was no "rebate" structured in the deal. The salesperson informed me that the customer is looking for a refund of $190.00 fee for title and tag that we charge. This is a non-refundable fee. All fees are clearly shown in the deal when presented to the customer before the purchase is finalized.
