Supplier passed the buck to the manufacturer, who claims that the product weight as specified in the product data sheet is actually the shipping weight and not the product weight. Product weight is as it says PRODUCT WEIGHT. SHIPPING weight is the product weight plus packaging, pallet or whatever is used to encase the product for shipping.

We apologize for any confusion in regards to setting up the return for these check valves. There was a return request submitted back on June 9th, and it was noted that the items were mis-shipped and were for the wrong size pipe. We had called you the following day, June 10th, for clarification on...

whether the wrong valves were shipped to you, or if the incorrect size valves were ordered. Unfortunately this is where we dropped the ball and I apologize, as we should have also emailed you and contacted again once we had not heard back from you within a couple of business days. The return paperwork was never emailed over to you, as we were awaiting this additional information. So I sincerely apologize for that confusion and delay, as we certainly will take back the check valves as you are well within the return time frame to do so and issue a refund for the material.We will email over the return paperwork today and will also send a prepaid shipping label to take care of the return shipping cost to get these valves back to our facility.
