I am rejecting this response becauseshady Grove Radiology still fails to acknowledge that it's core offense was attempted direct-to-consumer sale of unnecessary, unsolicited diagnostic radiology services by unqualified personnel to half-naked patient, despite my repeated requests to discuss this test with another physician.
Repeated requests for staff names were not even acknowledged for days.
The facility should apologize to me for the inordinate amount of time and energy required on my end because of their inappropriate business practices and evasive responses.
Regards,

Review: I went to the Shady Grove Radiology in [redacted], MD on May 5th 2014 to have 3 images taken. All 3 of my images were read incorrectly. When my primary physician saw the notes that were noted with the images taken, she knew the readings were incorrect. It was noted that I my gallbladder wall was thickening and had calcification on my uterus wall. My primary knew these readings were incorrect and called the Dr. who read my images to confirm his findings were wrong. He added an addendum to the images stating nothing was wrong after my primary needed to point that out to them. My primary referred me to my OBGYN since she was not familiar with calcification in the uterus. I was unable to get an appointment at the OBGYN office until 2 weeks after I had my first imaging done at Shady Grove. But immediately had my imaging sent to my OBGYN office and spoke with one of the Dr.’s there. She told me it was nothing for me to be concerned about and she also said the imaging must have been done incorrectly it’s not possible to have calcification in my uterus. Just for peace of mind and clarification my OBGYN sent me to have imaging done again where it was noted that there was no calcification. Shady Gove did 3 images and all three of the readings were done incorrectly.

Understanding this was an error on Shady Groves end and thinking they would be accommodating and understanding to their error. I called the billing department where I spoke with the supervisor who said she would give the message to her supervisor to call me back. I received a call from someone from the Corporate Office who at first he was very understanding and wanted to resolve the issue. He asked what I wanted to be done to resolve this issue. I responded him by telling him I wanted a credit to my account because I didn’t feel like it was fair to pay for the reading done at their center since it was incorrectly. His exact words were “I’d be glad to credit your account out of good faith”. I thanked him for doing that and asked if he would credit my insurance company as well. After saying this; his whole attitude and demeanor changed. He asked for me to send him my readings from [redacted] Radiology (which I didn’t even need to do) but I had them sent immediately. My understanding after getting off the phone with him was he was going to credit my account but would not credit my insurance company. I called him shortly after the images were sent to confirm that he received him, but he never called back. Instead he sent me a letter stating I had two different doctors refer the reading. Which is correct, my OBGYN ordered a second reading because the first reading my primary had ordered was done incorrectly at Shady Grove. Second he said the ultrasound was ordered for a different reasoning one was for pelvic pain the other heavy bleeding. Which I believe is irrelevant; the reading was done incorrectly regardless of what the reasoning for the ultrasound was. Lastly he went against his word during our phone conversation on 7/23/2014 and is no longer going to credit me the $345.26 he originally said he was going to credit.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to have my account credited $345.26 owed to Shady Grove Radiology. I believe this is fair because the readings done at their center were read incorrectly.
