advise me he had been convicted of Domestic Violence, or voice any concern (s) about his BackgroundThe customer was also advised of our Re-Stock Policy (50%) and Storage Fees (thirty dollars ($daily after thirty (30) days)On 01.08.16, I received a Denial from CA DOJ stating *** could not own or possess a firearmI called and spoke with his family advising them, of the problem*** came to my office and I advised him of DOJ's decisionI explained the Power Of Attorney option in which a designate of his choice could register the weapon in their nameThis would give *** time to correct whatever issues had caused his denial*** came back with his nephewA signed and notarized Power Of Attorney was completed, and the weapon was run in the Nephew's nameThe nephew picked up the weapon, but brought it back just a couple of days later saying that his Uncle was pressuring him to give him (***) the weaponThe nephew Voluntarily Surrendered the weapon to meI re-contacted ***, advising him of the issueI met with *** again, and helped him fill out forms and provided him directions to Kern County Superior Court, to amend his record, have the charges dismissed, and restore his right to Own and or Possess a firearm*** returned with a Order For Dismissal, that was an Application Only, not a DismissalI explained the situation to him, but he insisted that I go ahead and run another Background CheckI even emailed copies of his Dismissal Order to an agent at CA DOJI advised ***, that he could request a Self Check through DOJ, to see if he was now eligible, and that I would fill out all the paper work for himHe refused, so on 03.11.16, I again ran another Background Check on ***, and received another Denial on I again recontacted him, met with him and let him know that he needed to go back to the court to get clearedI again provided him with a written guideline and included his Petition/Order For DismissalI reminded *** of the Storage Fees, telling him he needed to clear the matter soon since the fees were starting to total up to a significant amount (two hundred forty dollars ($240.00)) as of 03.31.16.I did not hear from *** again until 10.26.16, when he showed up with his family again asking to pick up his rifleI asked for proof from the court that his Domestic Violence charge had been dismissed*** then pretended not to know what I was talking aboutI reminded *** that I had arranged a Power Of Attorney for him, but since he illegally attempted to take the weapon from his nephew it had been returned to meI also reminded him of both times that I provided Written Guidelines and directions to the court to clear his charges and his son stated he remembered all of the help I providedHe then admitted he had not gone back to court or through on the things he was supposed to I told him to go back to the court on and bring me written documentation that his charges had been cleared.On *** returned, but had nothing from the court, instead saying they told him to go through DOJI reminded him of the Self Eligibility Check in March of *** had no response, and asked about his moneyAt that time I reminded him of Storage Fees and the expenses I had incurred trying to assist him and that as a result he had no Refund coming to him.I have had to hold this weapon in Storage since 01.03.16, unable to sell it or do anything with it due to the pending alleged Court Order *** was obtaining.As of 10.27.16, *** owed six thousand, seven hundred and ninety-five dollars ($6795.00) for Re-Stock and Storage FeesAs of my response today, his total is six thousand, eight hundred and eighty five dollars ($6885.00).Despite every effort to assist him *** has no taken no responsibility for doing what is needed to clear his recordHad he simply told me of his Domestic Violence Criminal History, I would have told him that he was ineligible to own or possess a firearmMot only is this individual not owed a refund, he owes me a considerable amount of moneyI have had to lock the gun away in a vault unable to sell it to recoup my losses since
