Although you spoke to our store manager on 2/21/15, to date we have received no written documentation in regards to your claim.Your puppy carries a full warranty, and any claim can be processed...

Upon leaving the store, the puppy was perfectly healthy. Mr. [redacted] even came in the next day and told us how happy they were with the puppy and that she even spent the whole night in bed with them. Unfortunately, a few days later the beagle came down with a cold. As it is the case with any live...

animal, these things can happen. We have spoken to Mr. [redacted] (the customer who purchased the puppy) and the puppy is doing great. He is aware that he is covered under the Health warranty for his puppy. He has exercised his right to keep his puppy and be reimbursed up to double the puppy's purchase price in veterinary med bills. Shake A Paw will go ahead with the reimbursement once we receive these bills.

Review: Bought a puppy from there on February 7th 2015 and the dog was deemed good health no problems. After 2 days the puppy infected 4 dogs with kennel cough. As of yesterday Feb 21st one dog had to be put down do to kennel cough and age. Other 2 are on meds.Desired Settlement: Want them to be held accountable for not telling customers there dogs have kennel cough . And for them to pay for the 2 dogs medications and for the other to be put to sleep.

Review: On July 15 2015 I went to this business to purchase a puppy. Upon arrival there was dogs in there that look very sick and I even mentioned to the women working (Lisa) that the one dog kept gagging and throwing up. She blew it off and said none of our dogs are doing such a thing.. I then showed her myself and she said "Its probably because she just ate, she will be fine...." (shows how much they care about animals" The puppy I purchased had showed signs of illness a day after I brought her home.. Now its unknown if she will live and I have vet bills of 4,000 dollars.. I called to explain to Shake A Paw and the women said im ridiculous because I was crying over my dog that may pass away and hung-up on me.. I called back to speak to the mod and was told just return her and pick a new dog. This is a breathing animal not a pair of clothes.. no I will not just return her. They didn't even call to see how the dog was doing. This business claims they are all about healthy pets. Well they come from mills and are not healthy at all, plus the customer service that was received was disgusting. I have reported this to the spca, filed a complaint form to the us government, and also humane services. I received a document as well upon purchase that the puppy was fit for sale. Vet provided that the puppy was not fit for sale..Desired Settlement: This company should compensate for me the pet that I bought since it is very ill and I have to take my time out now to take care of her when I expected a healthy dog. Pay for all vet bills until puppy is in healthy condition. This business should also be inspected due to many sick dogs and it is sickening knowing they are in there to die because the company does not bring them to the vet when they are clearly ill.
