We do stand behind our "pre-owned" vehicles and our service hours are clearly stated Monday thru FridayThis is a losing battle for you as we would have gladly repaired your car, but as stated on all documents we are NOT required by law to honor outside repair invoicesIts as simple as that !!!

We have emailed the complainer and notified her that she did in fact sign a Purchase & Sale Agreement stating that the deposit was non-refundableWe will refund her deposit once this complaint is resolved and dismissed !!!

I am rejecting this response because:
I feel that this dealer should stand behind his product and since he states that the part would have cost him $53.00, forward us a payment for the part If that is what this part would have cost the dealer then so be it as the dealer does state that it is not his fault that I could not get down there during the week days but it is also not my fault that they do not have a mechanic on duty on Saturdays If I do't work I cannot make the payment for this carThe part was required to make the car pass *** Inspection and dealer should stand by that

As stated on all sale documents "NO OUTSIDE INVOICES WILL BE HONORED." We gladly offered to repair the vehicle and the customer could not find the time to come down here which is unfortunately not our problem. We are not legally required to honor an outside repair as this part would have only cost...

Review: 4 days after picking up truck from dealer, Noise in rearend was so bad I wouldn't drive truck anymore. Total miles driven were less then 200 miles.

Truck was dropped off at a rearend specialist for diagnosis. Was determined pinion/carrier bearings are defective. Would need a complete rebuild due to metal failure. Rebuilder said this issue had been there a while,didn't happen in four days. Fluid was clean and full at time of inspection. They can be contacted for verification of statement.Desired Settlement: I am requesting reinburstment cost of rearend rebuild and parts cost. The dealer said I am on my own, its not a safety issue, and I brought it somewhere else to get repaired and not to there place of business.I wanted a professional to look at it, not a used car dealer that had no mechanic at the time of purchase.There repairs were farmed out to another source last I knew. I don't feel this is an unfair request to ask for this.

We spent several thousand dollars (receipts for proof) on this truck outsourced at a local reputable shop before the customer took delivery of this truck. Yes we were without a mechanic at the time of sale, hence why we had to send truck out for pre-delivery safety inspection. Mr. Bouchelle has also tinkered with this truck as we spotted him leaving Advance Auto Parts a day after he picked it up. The truck was sold AS IS and was K-208 compliant (safety items). Mr Bouchelelle signed the Federal Buyers Guide AS IS as well as three other AS IS documents. He also was offered an extended service contract and declined that. Should you need further details on the State of Connecticut's Used Car Laws I will be happy to provide them for you. Thank you !!

Review: I put down a $100 deposit to a hold a vehicle on Saturday. Monday I found a car that was better suited to my financial situation and asked them to refund my deposit and the salesman told me that they don't refund deposits for people who "waste their time". Because I did not purchase the car.Desired Settlement: I would just like my 100$ back. I have proof of my deposit.
