I was referred to Shamrock by a friend who contracted with them before and had positive experiences. They provided a detailed, reasonable quote to repair my flat roof walk deck. The work was then scheduled for the next week, as promised. The employees were extremely professional and detailed. I am more than happy with the results and will quickly recommend Shamrock to anyone looking for roof repair work.

I recently had my house's tile roof redone by Shamrock Roofing Services. Their estimate was lower than that from a major roofing company. The work started on time and, after finishing, the area was cleaned up well. I believe that with the new double under layers of felt and other improved components, the roof will last a good 30+ years. I was very pleased by the completed job and, if I need their expertise again, I will call them first.

Review: I hired Shamrock Roofing to replace my old roof in September 2013. Since then the tile roof in the front of my house has continued to leak and has caused damage to the drywall on our front porch. I have had to pay for drywall repairs on our front porch twice since the roof work was completed by Shamrock Roofing. After the heavy rain on September 8, 2014 there was also damage to the drywall on my back patio. Shamrock Roofing installed new rolled roofing on the patio. In addition, we have leaking and water spots on the ceiling in our master bedroom. The rest of the roof appears to be fine at this time.Desired Settlement: I would like to request a refund for the cost to repair the leaking on the front porch, the patio and the master bedroom roof areas. I totally regret hiring Shamrock Roofing for many reasons. The main reason is that I don't have any faith in the owner to repair the roof properly. When I hired Shamrock Roofing I thought I was hiring the owner [redacted] to do the work. I thought it would be no problem since his website states he is licensed, bonded, insured with 25 years of experience. The reality is that on my roof repair I witnessed two different crews doing the work and I did not see [redacted] inspect or complete any of the work at all. I don't know the background or licensing credentials of the crews that finished the work. I am not comfortable having crews that he is not going to work with or supervise do any more work on my roof.

Additionally, his website states the company gives superior customer service. I completely disagree with this statement. When I called him on Monday 9/8/14 he could not come until Wednesday 9/10/14. On Wednesday he did inspect the roof but said that he would not be able to get someone out until 9/16/14. On 9/16/14 he called about eleven and said he could not pull his crew person [redacted] off his present job to repair our roof. He also said he did not know when he could reschedule with me for the repair. I don't think this is good customer service at all! I would like to know how he would feel as a homeowner not to have any idea of when the repairs would be made. I also wonder if he is licensed why he can't do the work himself without relying on someone else. . Dealing with Shamrock Roofing has been a nightmare. The crew showed up late on the first day and wanted total payment before the job was completed despite agreeing to a fifty percent deposit and full payment when the job was done. The only time I saw [redacted] was to collect the payment. Now that something is wrong I can't get them to even commit to a date for repair. I just don't like the way the owner [redacted] does business and that is why I am requesting a refund for the cost of the present roof damage. Hopefully the second time around with a new contractor the roof will be repaired correctly.

As a Realtor we are always asked to refer a roofer. Well sometimes that is hard if you have never used one. I finally needed a roofer after all this rain. I decided to use Shamrock due to past clients I have had, using them. They were fantastic! My husband even went on the roof to check out the work while they were working and was very impressed (That is hard to do!) . I will now without hesitation recommend Shamrock Roofing to not only my clients but to friends and family too!

We recently had our tile roof refelted by Shamrock. James was excellent to work with. He answered all of our questions in detail. The job started right on schedule and job was completed ahead of schedule. The crew worked very hard, were very professional and cleaned up very well at the end of each day. We had absolutely, no issues throughout the job. We would highly recommend Shamrock to anyone.
