Pictures of the vehicle in question are
attachedAs you can see there's damage to the lawnThis is why the condo association has a no tolerance policy in place for even one tire on the grassOur drivers don't have a "quota to meet" there's no reason for us to tow vehicles when they are not in violationWe have enough accounts to service across the city to not need to do predatory towingOnly doing what we're asked toHopefully this will change your opinion on our business practice
Thank you,

Shamrock Towing is will to refund *** *** *** back her $that was paid. We would just need to get a good mailing address so we could issue this via check (we do not have her credit card number). This particular lot is patrolled by our company at the property owners request and
the sign was on the property when the vehicle was towed, upon returning to the lot our sign was found lying on the ground and looked as if someone took bolt cutters and tore it down. To make this particular situation right we are willing to refund the cost of the tow

*** statements about the rental office not speaking to us & instructing us over a year ago to tow any vehicles without them calling in any tow-away zones that they've specified are untrueTowing at this property was set up in March of & there were tow-away zone signs posted in
the legally required area at the entrance to the complex at one point, thus establishing a legal tow-away zone in accordance with ORC I am not sure what happened to the original tow-away zone signs, neither is the rental officeSince the signs have disappeared, we reinstalled them when we were notified that they were no longer thereJust because the sign was not up at the time of *** tow, does not mean she was allowed to park where she wasShe failed to mention in her complaint that the reason I told her I could no longer speak to her about this matter is because she said she was taking it to court & also called me a bh twiceI refuse to discuss this matter with her any further

I am rejecting this response because: The signs do not specify Fireproof apartments/residents, as the other lots do specify. The sign "fireproof and church only" could reasonably be interpreted to mean fireproof building and church building parking, as both are buildings. This is especially true because there is no signage indicating any spots, including spot 59, are otherwise reserved. At the very least, signage should be updated to make things less vague and more specific, unless the company is intentionally attempting to be vague so vehicles can be towed
Regards,

We would need to know what the towing invoice number was or what kind of vehicle this is so we can check into this further.

Please see attached photos of the vehicle prior to towing. The wheel lift of the truck is under the vehicle but the vehicle had not been moved or lifted at the time the photos were taken. Buckeyes policy is that the permit has to be displayed on the rear view mirror with all of the pass showing so we can determine if the vehicle is parked in the correct lot number. In this case the permit was lying on the floor of the vehicle and was not visible. If the vehicle would have been picked up within the first 24hrs of towing the bill would have been $109.65 ($90 tow +$12 storage + $7.65 tax), so if the customer would've called the same day as the initial tow they would've been quoted the first days price. The storage increases $12 per 24hrs that the vehicle is in the impound lot which is outlined in the Ohio revised code 4513.60. There will be no refund issued at this time.

Revdex.com:
I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and, pending receipt of a refund check, find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

To Whom It May Concern,   This vehicle was parked in space#59 which is a reserved parking space for tenants of Fireproof.  This lot requires parking permits to be parked there.  If the owner of the vehicle was in a restaurant in the building, said owner would have find public...

parking.  The parking lot is not labeled for “restaurant parking only”.  Both lots are labeled with signs at the entrance “Fire Proof & Church parking only” and “Fireproof Parking Only”.  Shamrock Towing will not be issuing a refund at this time.

Mike was handling this complaint with the owner of the vehicle. Even though the damage was not caused by towing the vehicle Mike advised the owner if he brought the vehicle up to our office that he would have the plastic painted by our body shop.  Per Mike the owner of the vehicle never showed...

up or called him back after that.  If the owner is still willing to take the pieces off of the front bumper we will have them painted.  Mike will be out of the office 2/10/16 to 2/17/16 and will return on 2/18/16, if the owner agrees to the resolution he would need to contact Mike on 2/18/16 or after.

I am rejecting this response because: When talking to Shamrock I was told there doesn;'t have to be a sign posted. The sign was put up after the fact. I spoke with Scott the apartment manager the following day he told me that he would call to see about a refund because no one had told Shamrock to vome into the complex. I don't know id it's new managemnt.owners since March 2015. I was also told by Nikki at Shamrock that she had ta=lked to Scott (manager) on the same day, That she assured me that he was not on my side and that she had ralked to him. After speaking with Joey (co maanger) he assured me that Scott had not talked to her that day. So what she told me false. A call was made to Shamrock that day by Joey to say DO NOT TOW any cars unless tye were in the handicap area without a placard or plate. As far as non residents to know where to park. At the time there was no signs about towing anywhere in the complex. Shamrock only put them up the following day after my call. There driver even took his flashlight that night and verified there wasn't a sign. After talking to the office I know know where to park. as I said before myself and many others have parked in that area for many years,Shamrock is blaming the complex and they are blaming Shamrock. Bottom line is I feel someone owes me a refund. I hope that I do not have to take this to the next level which I will if I have to and I wil ask not only for my refund along with wages from missed work.

I have contacted the owner via email & phone and am waiting to hear back so we can settle this matter internally.

I am rejecting this response because: Because as a consumer I can! This company should not be in business they have the worst customer service!

Shamrock Towing Inc., were called out by the law enforcement agency to remove the vehicle from the roadway due to a collision.  In this instance when a law enforcement agency calls your response time must be within a certain time frame, so the roadway can be cleared for traffic.  The...

charges are not the same as a “private property” impound would be.  Shamrock Towing is willing to reimburse $70 to Mr. [redacted]’s bill, in good faith with the understanding that these charges are not “unfair”.  These rates are set with each individual law enforcement agency.  The check will be sent via mail and post marked 6/9/16.

To whom it may concern:
This issue has already been discussed & resolved with the property management. They have a no tolerance rule for any vehicle with even 1 tire on the grass.

Below are 2 photos provided to us by [redacted] Real Estate after they were taken by Shamrock Towing.[redacted] manager [redacted] told us earlier in the day on Sept. 2 that Shamrock takes photos before they touch a vehicle. As you can see in these photos, my son's truck was already hooked up to the...

tow truck at the time of the photos. We believe this act dislodged his valid parking permit, which had just been put in his vehicle the week before. The second photo was shot by Shamrock towing. It shows my son's valid parking permit on the passenger side floor of his truck. Again, this photo was shot by Shamrock.  Thanks,[redacted]

In response to the question "how is someone supposed to know if they're allowed to park there without a sign" & your statement that a sign appeared after complaining to 4 different people: the sign that "appeared" doesn't tell you where you can & can't park. It doesn't explain that "you [redacted] cannot park on the street where you've been parking for years." It only establishes that that complex is a legal tow-away zone. That it is private property & if your car is towed, you may lose your title to that vehicle. For you to know where you're allowed to park, you must ask the owners or managers of that property. If you do not live there to ask the property management, you should have the resident who does ask. If you in fact have been parking there for "years" you should know good & well that you're NOT allowed to park there. If you have an issue with the way the property management displays their rules on where & where not to park, why are you taking that out on us? Why, if your main issue is the fact that they don't have a warning sign right in front of where you've been parking for "years" are you complaining to someone who can't fix your issue? Us refunding your money is not going to make warning signs all over that property appear. These are their rules. We are just enforcing what they've asked us to. They did in fact change the rules for towing the day after you were towed, so that's why they're telling you we don't tow for people parked where you were parked, but they've had us towing for that reason from March 2015 until the day after you were towed. So, in response to your request for a refund, we will have to say no, because we are not in the wrong. We were hired to do that job & we deserve being paid for doing exactly what we were asked to do. Just because you don't agree with that, it does not entitle you to a refund.

Thank you, that's all I ever wanted from the start. I wanted to see exactly what the violation looked like. Now I can show my daughter exactly how she parked so she can be more careful in the future. I appreciate Revdex.com for helping me with my request, and also Shamrock towing for going against their policy of not showing pictures to customers and allowing me to see them in order to resolve the dispute. Thank you [redacted]

Ms[redacted]'s vehicle was parked in a private tow away
zoneThis property in particularly has our company patrol the lot 24/for any
vehicle not in a driveway or marked space.
They also do not allow any side street parking anywhere on the property,
unless it is a marked
space. This vehicle
was towed for not being in a marked parking space. The property owner is not required to have "tow
away" signs at each individual parking space, they are only required at the
entrance to the property After towing
the consumer's vehicle, Shamrock Towing did speak with the condo association
and they verified that this vehicle was in fact parked illegally according to their
rules. At this time no refund will be
issued

The rear of ** Chittenden does not belong to [redacted].  There are tow away zone signs located in the parking lot, we patrol the lot 24/7 for vehicles parked without the proper parking permit.  This vehicle did not have a permit and that's why our driver was going to tow...

it.  Because the owner came out while driver was loaded we are allowed to offer the owner to pay half of the towing fee of $90 which would be $45+tax.  We will not be refunding any money to the owner at this time.
