Below are photos provided to us by [redacted] Real Estate after they were taken by Shamrock Towing[redacted] manager [redacted] told us earlier in the day on Septthat Shamrock takes photos before they touch a vehicleAs you can see in these photos, my son's truck was already hooked up to the tow truck at the time of the photosWe believe this act dislodged his valid parking permit, which had just been put in his vehicle the week before. The second photo was shot by Shamrock towingIt shows my son's valid parking permit on the passenger side floor of his truckAgain, this photo was shot by Shamrock Thanks, [redacted]

Shamrock Towing Inc., were called out by the law enforcement agency to remove the vehicle from the roadway due to a collision In this instance when a law enforcement agency calls your response time must be within a certain time frame, so the roadway can be cleared for traffic The charges are not the same as a “private property” impound would be Shamrock Towing is willing to reimburse $to Mr***’s bill, in good faith with the understanding that these charges are not “unfair” These rates are set with each individual law enforcement agency The check will be sent via mail and post marked 6/9/

Mike was handling this complaint with the owner of the vehicleEven though the damage was not caused by towing the vehicle Mike advised the owner if he brought the vehicle up to our office that he would have the plastic painted by our body shop Per Mike the owner of the vehicle never showed up or called him back after that If the owner is still willing to take the pieces off of the front bumper we will have them painted Mike will be out of the office 2/10/to 2/17/and will return on 2/18/16, if the owner agrees to the resolution he would need to contact Mike on 2/18/or after

I am rejecting this response because: Because as a consumer I can! This company should not be in business they have the worst customer service!

Revdex.com: I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and, pending receipt of a refund check, find the resolution is satisfactory to me

I have contacted the owner via email & phone and am waiting to hear back so we can settle this matter internally

The rear of [redacted] Chittenden does not belong to [redacted] *** There are tow away zone signs located in the parking lot, we patrol the lot 24/for vehicles parked without the proper parking permit This vehicle did not have a permit and that's why our driver was going to tow it Because the owner came out while driver was loaded we are allowed to offer the owner to pay half of the towing fee of $which would be $45+tax We will not be refunding any money to the owner at this time

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When talking to Shamrock I was told there doesn;'t have to be a sign postedThe sign was put up after the factI spoke with Scott the apartment manager the following day he told me that he would call to see about a refund because no one had told Shamrock to vome into the complexI don't know id it's new managemnt.owners since March I was also told by Nikki at Shamrock that she had ta=lked to Scott (manager) on the same day, That she assured me that he was not on my side and that she had ralked to himAfter speaking with Joey (co maanger) he assured me that Scott had not talked to her that daySo what she told me falseA call was made to Shamrock that day by Joey to say DO NOT TOW any cars unless tye were in the handicap area without a placard or plate. As far as non residents to know where to parkAt the time there was no signs about towing anywhere in the complexShamrock only put them up the following day after my callThere driver even took his flashlight that night and verified there wasn't a signAfter talking to the office I know know where to parkas I said before myself and many others have parked in that area for many years,Shamrock is blaming the complex and they are blaming ShamrockBottom line is I feel someone owes me a refundI hope that I do not have to take this to the next level which I will if I have to and I wil ask not only for my refund along with wages from missed work

Ms [redacted] ’s vehicle was parked in a private tow away zoneThis property in particularly has our company patrol the lot 24/for any vehicle not in a driveway or marked space They also do not allow any side street parking anywhere on the property, unless it is a marked space This vehicle was towed for not being in a marked parking space The property owner is not required to have “tow away” signs at each individual parking space, they are only required at the entrance to the property After towing the consumer’s vehicle, Shamrock Towing did speak with the condo association and they verified that this vehicle was in fact parked illegally according to their rules At this time no refund will be issued / [redacted] Style Definitions */

In response to the question "how is someone supposed to know if they're allowed to park there without a sign" & your statement that a sign appeared after complaining to different people: the sign that "appeared" doesn't tell you where you can & can't parkIt doesn't explain that "you [redacted] cannot park on the street where you've been parking for years." It only establishes that that complex is a legal tow-away zoneThat it is private property & if your car is towed, you may lose your title to that vehicleFor you to know where you're allowed to park, you must ask the owners or managers of that propertyIf you do not live there to ask the property management, you should have the resident who does askIf you in fact have been parking there for "years" you should know good & well that you're NOT allowed to park thereIf you have an issue with the way the property management displays their rules on where & where not to park, why are you taking that out on us? Why, if your main issue is the fact that they don't have a warning sign right in front of where you've been parking for "years" are you complaining to someone who can't fix your issue? Us refunding your money is not going to make warning signs all over that property appearThese are their rulesWe are just enforcing what they've asked us toThey did in fact change the rules for towing the day after you were towed, so that's why they're telling you we don't tow for people parked where you were parked, but they've had us towing for that reason from March until the day after you were towedSo, in response to your request for a refund, we will have to say no, because we are not in the wrongWe were hired to do that job & we deserve being paid for doing exactly what we were asked to doJust because you don't agree with that, it does not entitle you to a refund

Thank you, that's all I ever wanted from the startI wanted to see exactly what the violation looked likeNow I can show my daughter exactly how she parked so she can be more careful in the futureI appreciate Revdex.com for helping me with my request, and also Shamrock towing for going against their policy of not showing pictures to customers and allowing me to see them in order to resolve the disputeThank you [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern, This vehicle was parked in space#which is a reserved parking space for tenants of Fireproof This lot requires parking permits to be parked there If the owner of the vehicle was in a restaurant in the building, said owner would have find public parking The parking lot is not labeled for “restaurant parking only” Both lots are labeled with signs at the entrance “Fire Proof & Church parking only” and “Fireproof Parking Only” Shamrock Towing will not be issuing a refund at this time

Our Company Trailer was towed at 5:30 am without leaving any notes on who took the possession of the trailer. Furthermore it was never disclosed who actually placed a call to have trailer removed. The towing person never made eye contact with us which leads me to believe that they are involved in a "shady" practices to taking vehicles without a reason and charging customers to recover them back. Contacted manager who was out of the office at the moment and then never answered back when I called.

Review: On 9/10/14 I had my 2013 [redacted] motorcycle impounded and towed by Shamrock Towing. On 10/09/14 I picked up my bike and saw that the left side was SEVERELY damaged. The left side of my motorcycle was in perfect condition when shamrock took position, yet when I went to pick up my bike it was muddy as if it had fallen in its side. It was stored on a gravel surface and only a round rock was used to support the bike on it's kickstand. There were other motorcycles being as grossly neglected as mine with one even on it's side.

When I went to view the damages on my motorcycle the WHOLE left side was extremely scratched, almost like drag marks. My clutch lever was bent, my back plastics both cracked and scratched. Upon calling other tow companies I came to hypothesis that my motorcycle was not properly secured on their tow truck's flat bed and it might have fallen over and been severely damaged during transport to their yard.

I have a police report from the officer when it was originally towed, with a vehicle map on it. It lists where my motorcycle had previous damage before the tow company assumed possession of it and states scratches on the RIGHT side of motorcycle only.

Apparently Shamrock Towing has a reputation around the [redacted] area for its business practices. I had more than one tow company ask if it was Shamrock Towing before I mentioned what company damaged my motorcycle.

Shamrock did what they call an "internal investigation" on the incident because they "don't recognize the police departments vehicle report". They also said that they do an intake report on all incoming vehicles. When asked for a copy of the report I was denied saying they do not release such reports. Shamrock said they will look into my claim and determine if they will accept it or not. After two week they called me back and stated they don't accept responsibility and claim was denied and that the damage was already there, even though I have pictures and a police report with a vehicle map listing where previous damage was before Shamrock Towing assumed possession.

All I have been trying to do is get my vehicle fixed to where it was before Shamrock Towing impounded and damaged it. This has been a monstrous inconvenience for me because my motorcycle was my only mode of transportation. I bought it brand new, keep it in my garage and have it service more than regularly at the dealership I bought it from. There is close to $4,000 in damages according to [redacted], which is where I originally bought my bike and took it for an estimate on fixing the damages caused by Shamrock Towing.Desired Settlement: I would just like my vehicle fixed to where it was before Shamrock Towing assumed possession of it and damaged it.

Review: As I [redacted] customer, I have opted to & pay for an additional service called Roadside Assistance. I called [redacted] this morning to schedule a tow, which I am entitled to with Roadside. I was very specific & coordinated the scheduling of the tow well in advance & this was all worked out with [redacted], who is the middleman that arranges the actual roadside assistance with the towing company. I explained that I am extremely busy at work & would have to come home to meet the tow truck driver with a very small window of opportunity, hence my coordination. I came home & no tow truck. When I called [redacted] to inquire, they tell me that Shamrock never dispatched the tow truck & that I will have to sit at home & wait for another tow truck to come out in 60 minutes! Very frustrating!!! I could've at least brought my work laptop home & got some work done, but now I sit here wait. Actually, I just received a text message (this is how they communicate that the truck is on the way) & it is exactly 60 minutes out. Coupled with the 15 minutes I have just waited since I called to schedule for the second time, & that makes a total of 75 more minutes wasted. This is unacceptable & I am very disappointed with Shamrock!Desired Settlement: A letter of apology would at least be in order. Better communication with their customers & not standing up them to leave them hanging is also a good idea for Shamrock to work on. I will specifically request a different tow company if I am in this situation again.
