In response to your
letterThis customer was unwilling to let me do my job for they seemed to know more than meI made multiple trips to satisfy the customerFor this reasons that
they are complaining I tried to explain to them for what they are asking could not be done
Customer also decided
to do a complete tear out of the project without
consulting with me first after I installed it which would completely void the warrantyBut, with that being said I would have still tried to
help the customer if they would have been a little more understand on
how you can and cannot do certain things. With this all being saidIf the customer was so unhappy with my company why did the pay for the project in full upon completion of the job with a handshake?I've been in business for over years and this is the first Revdex.com Complaint I've ever had...that may speak for itself

I am rejecting this response because:As stated in my initial complaint: We did feel that [redacted] Stair Co. was the best company for our project and hired him in "good faith" to complete the project correctly and professionally.  We did pay him in full as he stated he was finished with our project on March 24, 2017 (though was in a hurry to leave); upon further inspection, we found the incorrect installation issues.  We notified [redacted] on Friday, March 25, 2017 upon finding the issues with the installation of our project (just hours after he was paid in full for the project).  [redacted] stated he would correct the issues as soon as possible, though he was "out of town" through the weekend.  We trusted him in "good faith" that he would return to correct the issues with our project.  [redacted] himself did not return to our project until April 4, 2017.  [redacted] did send his co-worker/helper James on Tues., March 28, 2017 and James stated he was not qualified to make the corrections needed; I spoke with [redacted] on the phone and [redacted] assured me that he himself would come and correct the issues by the end of the week.  We did not hear from [redacted] or see him until the following Tues., April 4, 2017.  [redacted] did not bring any materials to correct/repair the issues and said he would have to go get the materials and return...[redacted] left and we never saw him again.  [redacted] would not answer our phone calls or return them.  We made attempts to contact [redacted] multiple times in the next 2 weeks to no avail and we decided we had to complete the project by hiring another contractor to correct the issues incorrectly made by [redacted].  This cost us $1056. additional to correct and we feel [redacted] is responsible for reimbursing us this amount. In summary: 1)  [redacted] incorrectly installed materials on our project and needed to correct/repair (incorrectly installed the 2 risers too short, incorrectly installed the wrought iron newel and all the wrought iron balusters needed cleaned after having had liquid nails dripping down them from improper installation).2)  [redacted] left our home stating he would return to correct the issues he made; he never returned (this visit was 11 days after being paid in full).3)  [redacted] Stair Co. would not respond to our attempts to contact him after his visit on April 4, 2017.  4)  After 2 weeks of "no contact" we had no alternative other than hiring another contractor to re-do/finish our project.5)  Additional cost to repair/correct improper installation issues - $1056. and [redacted] is responsible to reimburse for these additional costs.
