Review: I ordered a book on December ** 2012 and here it is almost a year to the date and I still have not received my book. I've been emailing and asking what's going on because I haven't gotten yet and no one has replied to me or tried to contact me.Desired Settlement: $100

Review: I received an email from this business about information on starting your own business. The name of the program being advertised was called [redacted] and I paid $37 for this. I received the link to download the material and when I clicked on the link none of my materials were able to be downloaded. I ordered the program on 9/**/13 and have been trying to get a response since this day until today 10/**/13.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a check issued to me to resolve this matter.

Review: I purchased an E-book copy of Shanel Cooper Sykes book "Stilettos in the kitchen". The E-book was supposed to become instantly available to me after purchase, but it was not. I also contacted customer service to see if I could be assisted but have had no response. I completed the purchase through my PayPal account and $14.95 was charged to my credit card for the purchase of the book.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money and an explanation as to why this e-book was not readily available after purchase. I have made other e-book purchases in the past with different companies and have had no problems.

Review: I never received the product that I purchased over a year ago. I've made multiple calls and sent several emails to no avail.Desired Settlement: I deserve my money back because I never received the product

Review: I paid $297 to attend a life coaching event in Houston, TX. This business has failed to confirm event details including location, travel, and times. Upon contacting the hotel at which this event was suppose to be held, the hotel reported having no record of this person or event. Shanel Cooper-Sykes, herself, reported there being close to 50 paid registrants for this event, some of which would have to purchase plane tickets and reserve hotel rooms to attend event. After reaching out to Shanel to collect more information about this event, she has ignored and/or deleted public inquiries from myself and multiple other attendees. There is information on the web about this business [redacted] scamming other people who paid for products and services that they never received and I am afraid that we, too, have been scammed.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $297 that I paid to attend this event.

Review: Back in December 2011 [redacted] was doing a event and she was charging people 1,500 dollars to come. Me being a college student I asked her can I do a payment plan. She said yes so I started paying in January I made a payment of 197.00 on Jan **,2012 I made a payment of 197.00 on Feb **,2012 and a Payment of 197.00 on April *,2012 That's a total of **591.00** know one has done anything with. Than she host two class and I wanted to take those classes so she took some money out of the money owed to me now the total is 521.00 that she has not refunded me. I took those classes a year ago. And I have been asking for a refund and she still continue to tell me she is going to give me a refund. Every time I send her a email someone is sick or dieing or she is not in the country which I am so tired of hearing excuses. I have emails and messages from her saying she is going to send me a refund and she has not done it. We have been emailing back and forth and I have not received a refund. It's almost 2014 and she has promised me over and over again to send me a refund. I meet her and took pictures with her and talked to her and she said that she would give me a refund and have not yet got it. I have feel like I have been treated unfair and I have been scammed by a "Life Coach". Name [redacted] she has a Facebook page with all these young lady's and I feel so bad for them beware this woman will take your money and not refund or send you anything.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund she owe me of 521.00 dollars

Review: On. November **or **, 2013, I purchased a product from this company. I received an email that was suppose to lead to my digital download. However the link was defunct. I immediately requested for my money to be refunded and for the second payment to be cancelled. I received my refund. However, the second payment was taken out of my account today. I would think this is borderline criminal being that I informed them in writing not to take the second payment.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded, immediately.

Review: I had signed up for a program via [redacted] on July [redacted]- a life coaching program that would run for 9 weeks. Shanel Cooper Sykes had stated in the agreement of this program that if we (consumers) were not happy with the program there was a no questions asked "100% percent money back guarantee" and also the she stated that the program was a monthly "pay as you go" therefore meaning month by month one can choose whether to pay a second installment. I had emailed the company many times stating why the program was unsuitable for me and the company has been unresponsive to my complaint- I wanted my money back as the program did not live up to its expectations and was not suitable and convenient for me. More so, they have taken a second installment of $597 from account without my consent. In total the company has robbed me of $1194 for a service that I am not using.Desired Settlement: I want the sum of $1194 refunded back to myself.

Review: Shanel Cooper-Sykes, a very well known life coach with over 300,000 [redacted] followers, announced an event she would be having in July via her website [redacted] on May [redacted], 2014 (the video is still posted). The event was to be called "Breakthrough" and she originally would be allowing 100 people to attend from July [redacted] in Houston, TX.. Soon thereafter, she sent out emails for payment. The "Early Bird" special was to be $297.00 and if one paid later, it would be $497.00. I was able to take advantage of the Early Bird special via [redacted]. However, the closer that the [redacted] got, there were absolutely no updates about the event. I emailed her customer service team on 6/**/14 about this issue. I was emailed back with a recording of a conference call that she supposedly had about the event prior that I had not received at all. She was heard on the call giving details about the event (specific location, airport, times etc) and also that now it would only be available to 50 people now instead of 100. [redacted] stated that there were about 48 people signed up for the event already. She also said that the event would be held at the [redacted] and we could get discounts on rooms by calling the hotel and mentioning "Breakthrough with Shanel". At the end of the call, [redacted] stated that we would all be receiving another email about more details of the event soon. I never received another email. Through Google and [redacted] searches, I found two other women that were "signed up" for the event and were experiencing the same difficulties. One woman told me she called the hotel and there were absolutely no records of the event. They and myself continued to email Shanel's customer service team and message her on [redacted] with no response. Comments on [redacted] and [redacted] were completely ignored and deleted. Talk about the event via her [redacted] page was deleted and eventually ceased. On 7/**/14, I messaged her on [redacted] again detailing what all I have done to resolve the issue and that if my money was not refunded soon, I would be taking legal action. A few minutes later, someone (apparently from her customer service team) messaged back this exactly: "You will receive a response from [redacted] soon. We completely understand your frustration and will be delighted to follow up with you in the morning. Thank you so much for believing in us!!". The same day, Shanel messaged me and asked for my number. She called me a few hours later and said that one of her customer service reps had "up and quit on her" and she had to"make some changes" to the event. Now, she told me she had rented a house for the event and it would be like a "retreat". I was asked if I could still attend, I advised her no because since I did not receive any updates, I made other plans, and did not purchase a plane ticket etc because it was believed that I and other women had been scammed. She said that everything was fine and she would process my refund and also allow me free tuition for her new "Elevation" life coaching program that is normally $3000. Never received anything. [redacted] so eloquently planned this scam so that I and other women would miss the 45 day dispute time frame through [redacted]. As of today, there has been no communication from [redacted] or her customer service team about the status of refunds.. The event actually WAS held, surprisingly. There were snippets of video posted to [redacted] of it, but only about 5-6 women were seen. Not the original 100 she told us and definitely not the 50 she changed it to on the conference call.Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of $297.00 ASAP.

Review: I ordered an e-book from Shanel Cooper-Sykes website and have not received the item I paid for. I tried emailing [redacted] but the two different email addresses I used were non-operable and were returned.Desired Settlement: I want the e-book I ordered to be delivered promptly or a refund for $14.95!

Review: Good day,

I attempted to email this business on multiple occasions regarding the failure of delivery of my items. I purchased an item with digital delivery. I was charged a total of $49.95 for the item in February of this year and I have still not received the item. I have received one response from the company stating that the item was sent without any confirmation or documentation supporting their claim. Despite my repeated requests for a response or refund, SCS Media Publishing has declined to respond or ensure delivery of the item I purchased. Upon search through social media, there are multiple customers who have been charged for items they have not received and have not received a response from the company. This is a poor and dishonorable business practice.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the amount I paid for this product. There should be a warning of this company and its unsavorable business practices.

She said that everything was fine and she would process my refund and also allow me free tuition for her new "Elevation" life coaching program that is normally $3000. I accepted and asked when would the refund be processed. She said in about 3-5 days. On Wednesday, July [redacted], I text messaged her inquiring about my refund since it had yet to be processed. She responded, "Hi Mari, not sure if it's appropriate for you to expect this type of swift refund. It takes several days for a refund to process. I have been traveling and not in my office. I don't process them myself. I'll have to see where they are with refunds. It will be a few days dear. But it will be processed." I texted her back advising that I had been waiting since the 22nd of July and did not receive a reply or any updates. Therefore, I have filed a dispute with my bank for the funds since [redacted] so eloquently planned this scam so that I and other women would miss the 45 day dispute time frame through [redacted]. Review: I was select as a candidate for Shanel's Bootcamp July 2013. I was placed on a payment plan over the period of Jan-Jul 2013 to complete full payment. I paid a total of $598 upto the time of finding out I was not able to attend due to my wedding being around the same time. I sent her an email stating this and she responded to me via telephone. Saying there was going to be another event happening soon close to my area that I could use the money towards. That was in May 2013. I didnt hear from her til August 2013 when I had to resort to sending her a personal [redacted] message. At this point I was fed up and just wanted my money back. She responded to my [redacted] message saying she would have someone contact me for details so I can get my refund. Now we are in December 2013 and I havent heard from her or that someone.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back in full sent back to my paypal account. I am not interested in anything else she has to offer just my $598 in full.

Thank you.
