Review: I am a resident of Shenandoah, and my vehicle was towed on 8-22-13. I own three vehicles, and only two parking passes were given to me. The leasing office assistant [redacted] advised my husband he could not have a third parking pass for our third vehicle. We are in the process of selling one of our vehicles, but until it is sold we have to park it where we live. I spoke with the property manager [redacted], and she is refusing to give me a third parking pass. I can not take time off from work to pick up my car, nor can I afford to pay for my car to be returned from towing. I was speaking with a representative from the towing company, and he told me the property manager advised them to not be concerned with vehicles in the back of the community, and most of those vehicles have been sitting there for months. The rules should be consistent no matter where you park. The best solution the manager is able to give me is to park by the pool, which is far from my home, and walk. As I advised her, I have a baby to carry back and fourth, and I get home late in the afternoon. That is not safe nor is it reasonable. I feel as if I have been singled out, and discriminated against. This morning when I went into the office to speak with the desk clerk, a guy from maintenance told me to park in a visitors spot, and move my car daily from one visitor spot to another so that it does not get towed. I think this is the silliest resolution I have ever heard of. I have a baby that I have to take care of. I do not have anyone to watch my child while I shuffle cars around. My husband and myself had to miss an entire day from work to get my car back. I have been calling the towing company all day, and I have not received my car. I need some compensation for having to miss work. All I am asking for is a parking pass to comply with the rules of the apartment, so that we can all avoid this situation again.Desired Settlement: I would simply like a parking pass, until my third vehicle is sold.

I am rejecting this response because:

The issue has not been resolved. I am not going to take time off to respond to this matter over the phone. I work all day and I am not able to communicate over the phone during business hours. Enough of my time was wasted when my vehicle was towed with out warning. My lost decal has nothing to do with this case. The manager [redacted] suggested that I should live elsewhere because I can not follow directions. I did not get my car towed on purpose. My rent is paid every month I'm very capable of following direction. The termination of my lease is not a suggestion that I object. If you would like to talk, please email me at [redacted].
