I was on the web when my computer lock up and nothing I did would work and this was the place it said to call so I did after a hour of taking over my computer and paying a 100.00 us they got the computer to work. after reading this bb report, I am sure they are the ones with the freeze your computer virus that leads you to there number they tried to get me for 1500 but I got them to fix what they did to my computer for 100 my computer guy I go to would have charge me the same to wipe off what was on it. and I watch what they did witch was use online cleaning programs thet you can download for free or have a trail period . But when you computer is frozen and nothing works they got you were you live I though *** would stop this sort of thing I was sure wrong about that
Blocked my computer and coerced a payment of $300 *** to "cleanup" my computer.I did not pay attention to the red flags but did take my computer in to *** immediately afterward, where I had purchased it and they effectively cleaned out two viruses that these *** guys had either left or installed. No end of the issue as I felt it necessary to cancell all credit cards and instructed the bank to place a stop payment on the cheque. This went through anyway. Hopefully we will get this settled soon.

As arranged with Shankara through their affiliate *** now***,San Jose, Ca, I have withdrawn my original review ,assuming they refund the fees paid to unblock my computer, as I have been led to believe.
For the second time in 2 years Shanker Consulting Inc. hijacked my computer. Telling me to contact this phone number. The message along with an irritating beeping said that someone had used my IP address. They said that they could fix it for $413.99. Where upon I had to wright a check for that amount and video photo it to them, which like an i
t I did.
I called the same number the next day to get information on Shanker Consulting Inc. They refused to give me any information, no address, no email. They ( the first technician and his boss) said that the person I talked to didn't work for them they had never heard of me and that I should stop payment on the check. The man had worked up to screaming that I had the wrong company and I wouldn't listen to what he was saying. He couldn't answer me when I said "Then how did I get this phone number?
I have since put a stop payment on the check, shut down my checking account and debit card due to the fact they have a photo of my routing number. Merry Christmas. I won't forget you.
