Absolutely HORRID move-out "cleaning". A team of 2 ladies for 5 hours...1lady I hired Shannon's to do a move-out clean for a 4-bedroom, 2 story house...what I got was something my 9-year old son could have done, and a $300 cleaning bill from the landlord - this after paying $265 to Shannon's.The so called cleaning efforts left the following: Dirty mop water in kitchen sink (they used MY mop and bucket because they forgot theirs), dirty counters, dirty ovens, dirty microwave, trashcan left on counter full of trash, prep sink not cleaned, window sills throughout the house not wiped down, blinds throughout house not dusted, entire downstairs bathroom not cleaned, broom left in bathroom, hanging lamp in dinning area not cleaned, windows & glass doors not cleaned, mirror closet doors not wiped down. FIVE hours ... seriously, what did your people do? Cost me money. This is a business that needs to either overhaul their teams, or close up shop. DO NOT USE THEM!!!Product_Or_Service: Move-out cleaningDesired SettlementThey gave us a $10 discount after we complained on several occasions. We lost money on our cleaning deposit as our landlord was extremely unhappy with the move out condition; which means we paid Shannon's $265 and lost $300 of our deposit due to the condition after move out. Our landlord specifically mentioned it was due to the lack of cleaning not any damage that was done while we were living there. He called three days after cleaning. He mention only 3 items that did not get done correctly. I told him our policy is to send someone back out to redo. He said he didn't have time, since he waited to call to complain 3 days later. I told him we do not usually offer discounts or refunds. But because of his timing, I offered him $15 discount. So from $280 her paid $265. The items mention were dirty bucket of water in sink, Stove not wiped out, and bathroom floor not cleaned. The stove was not wipe out because it was still hot and in locked mode, so it couldn't be cleaned. This should have been set to clean mode by owner the night before hand. We do not get between homeowner and tenants on cleaning deposits. Mr. [redacted] failed to call us within 24 hours after cleaning was done. Because of this and his time constraints we could not properly address his 3 issues, so he was compensated $15 which he agreed to. After meeting with the landlord, a day later (4) days after service, he called me up and threaten to ruin my company's reputation by making slanderous lies all over social media. As owner of company, I do not take threats lightly. He did on on [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], etc. each time he wrote something a little different. So at this point, I am unwilling to discuss this with Mr. [redacted] unless he finds a way to remove his nasty, slanderous lies on social media. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I called twice after the cleaning and the walk-through with the owner of the home; leaving voice mails with no return calls. I have a copy of the invoice for the second cleaning done by another company, of which the entire amount was taken from my deposit. My original walk and call into the owner about a handful of things was not thorough as I had to be out of the home that day. The landlord is more than willing to supply a letter with ALL information about the poor cleaning. My comments are not slanderous, they are fact in that the job was not performed to the amount paid.
