This is the last sentence in our contract and it states "Landscaping not included." It is read to the customer and explained when the contract is signed. We will be doing digging in your yard and there is work your landscaper will have to do to repair some of your yard.We did not leave "hills". A ditch was dug for the sewer work from the garage. It was filled in and has a slight rise where it goes from the garage to the sewer hook up.This is not our responsibility to lput into its finish stage. We do a rough grade and it is the responsibility of the owner to finish this portion of the job. The landscaping.Ms. [redacted] asked us to pick up rocks behind her garage and move a piece of sandstone to the service door by the side of the garage. We were also asked to move the basektball hoop which we did.If this is so distressing to Ms. [redacted] she should have a landscaper come in and repair what she feels is not proper.Ms. [redacted] has done nothing throughout the spring and summer to remedy this and it is not our responsibility.The garage project was beautiful. In Ms. [redacted]'s case the city asked for a sewer line to be installed from the garage to the storm sewer on the rear of her home. This is shown to the customer when the contract is signed. When we installed the sewer line it is covered up, and leveled as well as possible. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to landscape after the fact.
