Member joined on 10/02/2015 and was explained in detail the terms of the membership. The employee at that location circled and initialed areas of the contract as trained by management. We do not advertise or express in any way we have...

supervised child care at any of our locations. The member called weeks after joining to complain about the fact we do not offer child care and was told by three different managers we are always trying to improve areas of the facilities and offered her alternatives to her problem and issues. Member was never told the owner would contact her. Member continued to call and demand her contract be terminated and was told that would not happen due to company and state regulated policies. Member used foul language and threaten managers that she would post bad reviews on social media and continue to give negative feedback despite our attempts to help with her issues. This location is a small community fitness center that exceeds in services and equipment in a town with a population of roughly 1200 people. As a family own company we work hard to address all of our members concerns and needs and is the case in this situation also. We are sorry she is not pleased but the contract will remain in effect until the term dates and proper cancellation after term dates are expired. I did lose my temper but nothing else listed is true. Nothing was circled, nothing was told. I did not speak to three managers, ONLY one woman that promised to call me back with an answer then accused me of lying and said has never said she would call me back (hoe was I supposed to hear about the owners answer then??). I attempted to fix, and told them we were moving as well to which they did not try to absolve or offer solutions. Even if childcare is not offered an unsafe room for children IS onsite and I attempted to reach out about it as well as the unclean quarters and unhelpful staff. I asked for help and all but begged for solutions prior to this but was told that "all she had was my word" and didn't believe it. She also suggested I seek childcare in order to utilize their service. I told her I would be reaching out to facebook and had made a report to the Revdex.com AFTER she told me that I needed to learn how to read a contract. The customer service is severely lacking and so is their solution.

The bottom line is that Mrs. [redacted] was as capable as any other of the thousands of members that we have, to explore the gym, look around, try it out, check out the playroom which is perfectly safe but unsupervised (which seemed to be her biggest complaint). They may even try an aerobics class either complimentary or by purchasing a ten dollar day pass. Usually we will let someone try a class if they are not sure about whether they will like it or not.
Our membership forms are set to print out two copies by default. One copy is given to the customer and one is signed by the customer and filed. It is a legal binding contract which states, RIGHT ON THE FRONT, anyone who signs it and changes their mind for any reason at all, can cancel within three days by following the procedure to cancel. We don't go over everything on the contract with anyone but we invite anyone who wants to read the terms of the contract before signing to please do so.
My experience with speaking to her over the phone was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had. I couldn't even communicate with her at all because she was very unreasonable and would barely let me speak without interrupting me yelling and cursing. Much of her complaint to you is fabricated. This is simply a case of buyer's remorse and she is angry.
In December Mrs. [redacted] stopped payment on her monthly draft which was a clear indication that she did not intend to honor her part of the contract so steps were taken to send her account to collections. This is now a matter between her and National Bureau of Collection.
