A text message was sent from this business to my cell phone after I filled out my information at an event. It asked for my name, e-mail and address. I quickly responded with all my information before realizing it was a group text and a whole lot of people now know all my personal information. After I realized this, I stated that I was upset that it wasnt a personal message. The company did not send me anything directly or attempt to call to fix the situation. I am now nervous and unsettled.

As a small and upcoming business, we are currently working on ways to send out mass communication to our clients.
We understand that this was not the best form of mass communication and is being corrected now.
This was a mistake on our communication part and we did personally apologize to those involved.
We are and were trying to be sure EVERYONE who entered into our FREE DRAWING FOR A FREE DEEP CLEAN had the chance to WIN this, due to some information provided being unreadable!
The individual was sent a personal apology from the business stating our mistake, while informing them that we were only wanting to be sure she/he had the opportunity to WIN this FREE service!
Also, informing them that the message was clearly sent to multiple recipients and had the option to either "reply" or "message back" to the number provided.
We would be more than happy to provided a FREE service to show our apology and appreciation!
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Although initial message was unclear to me (and others) that it was a group message. I DO accept your apology. The issue should've been handled personally and in a timely manner. I was very upset. My emotions escalated because I was not contacted until 4 hours after I messaged you directly. Thank you for responding and working toward improving your contact methods. I do not need further contact with your company and hope the best for your company's future.
