Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: First off, when they advised me of coolant leaking, that is not trueI will take it to a mo part dealer and have them get in writing that no coolant is leakingSecond, they never told me the warranty wasn't good until the coolant leak was fixedLike I said, there was no leakThird, they had my vehicle on the scanner for minutes, not minutesI did not speed off recklesslyI left when the technician told me to leave and told me to never come backAlso, the car wasn't overheating until the technician started messing with the scannerI have less then miles on the transmission since the jobMy issue is not due to the water pump coolant leaking, because it is not leakingThis company created both issues with my carI do not trust this business, and want them to pay another mechanic to fix the job they screwed up twice Sincerely, [redacted] ***

They made me sign a paper that said that the water pump is leaking; it is not. I am a factory trained mechanicThe only thing that is leaking is the valve cover. They over heated the engine when the technician scanned the ECM. This car belongs to my wife who is handicapped. It is marked as such. If it is fixed, others will be able to take her in her car to her appointmentsI didn't have a single cooling problem with this car, until it was in their care

I have attached the signed repair orderMr*** signed the first page under Advisory Notes acknowledging the coolant leak and the fact the warranty would not be valid until this was correctedMr*** told our service manager that he had had that repaired by someone else prior to bringing it to us and that he would take it back to them to get it fixedHe deferred having this repair performed by JTAC to our service manager. Joplin Transmission is ready to take care of Mr***'s concernsWe are willing and more than able to resolve his issuesWe will not authorize a third party to do our warranty work on this vehicle. Mr*** claims that his vehicle's cooling system was damaged by our technician when he had a Sndiagnostic scanner attached to his ODBII connector!

Mr*** had his transmission rebuilt and delivered to him on 2-05-At that time he was advised that his water pump was leaking and that the timing belt was getting saturated with antifreezeWe informed him that the transmission could not be warranted until the cooling leak was fixed and
inspected by our shop since he deferred us doing the additional repairThe transmission has to be properly cooled for proper operationHe signed this acknowledgment on the invoice IOn 02-17-(A Saturday) he returned to our shop complaining of erratic and firm engagementsDuring the minute inspection, with the scanner connected to the car, the vehicle began to overheatWhen asked if he could leave vehicle for further diagnostics, Mr*** became upset and cursed out our technicianCustomer stated that he had changed the thermostat but not the water pump as recommendedHe sped off recklessly, cursing saying that he would not come back.On 3-12-@ 4:40pm he called our center manager, *** ***t, and cursed him out and hung upHe called again at 4:45pm when I answered the phoneI let him talk at length, when I tried to suggest him bringing the car in for free diagnosis and he said 'Listen to me *** *** You *** *** and hung upI sent him a text to once again offer our services and to stand behind our work at 5:53pmI have attached the text and his response the next morning.We willing and able to address the concerns Mr*** has, he will have to be able to allow us in order for this to take place
