Review: I went to Sharps Cars LTD to get my engine replaced. I paid over 600 dollars to do so. I get my car back still not functioning, I was told by them that it was a computer problem and that I need to get another Engine Computer Module that would solve the issue. I asked them on about 3 different occasion are they sure that's what it is, they said yes everytime. I purchase the part and send it [redacted] to get the work done with it programming wise an all. They start to donut an see that it's not working and let me know they would have to run a diagnostic on it to see what the problem is an why the computer isn't make the car work. They come to find that it wasn't the engine computer but the engine itself that wasn't done correctly. Either t was not put in correctly or it was the wrong engine for my vehicle the shop tells me. I came to there to simply get a computer put in and programmed which I had a estimate for so I knew what I was getting into. But now they tell me the iagnostic they ran comes out to be 325 dollars. So I call the shop who didn't do the job right, an have me false information and ask them to rectify this situation cause I wouldn't be in the situation in the first place if everything was done correctly the first time. I am a college student who doesn't have all this money to be spending on things that's not even helping my situation with my vehicle. They should pay the diagnostics seeing that they couldn't get it right the first time and should go back an do the job right an get my car running. The man who worked on my cars at sharps name is [redacted] and the man who did the diagnostic at [redacted] is [redacted].Desired Settlement: Pay [redacted] for the diagnostic that they had to do, and fix the problem with the engine wether it's puting another unit in or correcting whatever you did wrong installation wise the first time.

We gave [redacted] a running, working motor that was valued at $1000.00. We also recommended that he replace timing belt and water pump. He told us that all the parts were supposed to be free. The only thing our company agreed to was the motor that we would give him free of charge. When the car arrived at our location the battery was dead and the car wouldn't run at all. The car that we took the motor out of was driven to our car lot from our storage location. After putting the motor in the car our mechanic [redacted] diagnosed the car and told [redacted] that the car needed a computer. [redacted] also recommended that he take the car to the dealership to have the computer and key programmed. We didn't recommend him to take the car to another location, we recommended that he take the car to the dealership. He should have gotten an estimate from them before authorizing them to diagnose. If it didn't need a computer he should have contacted us before spending money on diagnostics.

I am not satisfied with Sharps Cars response to my complaint because I didn't ask them to run the diagnostic before hand, on top of that if sharps cats would have done there job correctly and been accurate with there diagnostic I wouldn't even be in this position. There diagnostic of the problem and work on the car was insufficient and it's a simple fact when you pay someone to do a job, you go it right an when you mess up take responsibility for it. Don't try and get out of it; I asked them multiple times were they sure it was the ECM in the first place. And everytime I was assured that it was due to there diagnostic. But apparently they were wrong an sent me off an now knowing there was a mistake in there behalf they aren't trying to the ethical thing and fix it. They didn't even offer to pay for the tow back to the shop for them to fix the problem.

Honest company loyal to their customers. They will work with you as long as your truthful. You can xdtive out today with a car that will get you above and beyond point A past B.

Review: I traded in my car for this vehicle, I did know that it had been rear ended they did tell me that, but I didnt know all the issues that I was going to be getting with the vehicle, within the first two weeks the hubs on the drivers side began grinding, the battery terminal has been messed up where the vehicle will not start unless you remove the cable and put it back on, and then on 8/12/13 the vehicle didnt start at all, the fuel pump went out on the car, I called and they said they will not pay anything on it to help me get it there so I had to pay 80.00 to get the car towed to their shop, they said that the fuel pump went out and it would be 160.00 to fix it and that I couldnt have the car until that was paid in full, so I complained that I shouldnt have to pay all this money out on this car when I just got it not even two weeks ago and told them that I just wanted my money back, she ([redacted]) said that she will ask them about getting my money back, she called me the next day and said that they will not charge me for it and put a new tire on it for me, so I picked it up and have had nothing but more problems, the transmission is starting to slip and the bumper still hasnt been fixed since the day I bought it. I have been very unhappy with everything on this car and they have only fixed it cause I said that I want my money back.Desired Settlement: I have told them before when the problems first occured that I wanted either my car back or my 5,000 that they were giving me for my car, they sold my car the day after I traded it in and can not give it back as someone else has it, and then said that their finance manager is out of the state until the 27th of aug and that the owner will not help me because he doesnt get involved with the finances of the company, I believe that they are just trying to make me keep the car longer so there will be nothing that I can do about it im very unhappy and would really just like my money back or my car back so I can actually have something realiable that wont leave me stranded when I have a job and school to get to full time.

We value our customers opinions, however, we try to take care of every problem we can. The warranty we offer is 30 days/1000 miles which ever comes first We put every car we sale through 2 inspections. The first inspection is with our on site mechanic. The second inspection is the state inspection. We sell used vehicles, things can go wrong with any vehicle. [redacted] called the office complaining about things going wrong with the vehicle that wasn't covered under the warranty. The hub bearings are not covered under the warranty. We had an appointment to work in the bearings and the loose battery cable August 14, 2013. We worked her vehicle in as quick as possible. The mechanic gave the secretary the price to charge to have the repairs done to the car. At that point we relayed the price to [redacted] to have the fuel pump replaced. She was explaining that she hadn't had the car long and she was upset cursing at the secretary. We told her to calm down and we would get the situation resolved. She didn't have the money to get the car fixed. [redacted] told her that she would talk to the owner about the cost of repairs and get back in touch with her. [redacted] called her back and told her that we was going to take care of the repairs for her and that we had also replaced 3 tires on the vehicle for her. [redacted] was upset that she was without a vehicle for a couple of days, but had the car been delivered to the lot when it was supposed to be, we would have resolved the issue the same day. On the day 8/14/2013 [redacted] and [redacted] delivered the vehicle to her job, [redacted] went in and let her know that she needed to call and let us know what day she wanted to drop car off and get the bumper painted. We haven't been told anything about the transmission slipping so that is complete news to us. [redacted] told [redacted] that it would have to be on a Thursday so she could borrow her boyfriends vehicle to get back and forth to work. We also explained that we would need to keep the car for painting at least 24 hours as we would need to allow time to dry. She has called the office wanting her money back, but there was no money involved in the vehicle. She traded in a 2006 Nissan Altima for the down payment towards the 2008 Honda Civic that she wanted. The Nissan Altima has been sold so therefore we cant return car to her. The down payment we required for the Nissan doesn't cover what we allowed her for it. We also have signs in our office that down payments are non refundable. [redacted] was aware of that. [redacted] told [redacted] that the finance manager is out of the country, he is the person she needs to speak with and he will be returning to the office on August 28, 2013. She wanted to speak to the owner of our lot and got upset when [redacted] told her he doesn't handle the phone calls and the accounts. He is busy getting other things taken care of. Over the years in business we try to work with customers and take care of all the problems. There are times we take care of the problems even when the warranty has expired.Sincerely,[redacted]

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I dont think that this was a very fair or even explainable explanation of any of the issues I was having, I was not cursing at anyone for one and for two there are plenty of other people who have compalined on Revdex.com and got their money back from what they were stating their problems were, and for you to say that the 5000 down wouldnt even allow me for the downpayment???? how high of a downpayment are you expecting for a vehicle you saying that me paying 12500 for the car and paying almost half of the car off isnt enough for a downpayment? that really sounds like a rip off to me when allmost anything else on that lot has a down payment of 2500 I put up double when trading in my car which yall sold for double as well and are making money off of it every month since they fianced it through yall as well. And yes the car was supposed to be painted the same week that I got it and all I get is excuses of how they have to wait and hear from the painter before they can do anything. I also dont know how you guys think that just cause I traded in a car that I dont deserve to have my money back, you still got the value and were able to resell within two days and will make almost triple profit off of that car as it had NOTHING wrong with it, I think that with all the issues and the complete disatisfaction of this company and I no longer wish to do any sort of business with at all I should be given my money back I feel that this car lot has done nothing but try to rip me off from day one and I feel that they think that there is nothing that I can do but sit back and watch them take advantage of hard working peoples money. I would like my money back so that I can get a reliable vehicle that will never leave me stranded at this one has twice, this is why I felt necessary to compalin to the Revdex.com as well as the scc of va.Regards,[redacted]

Review: This company did a collision job on my CAR that was poorly, incomplete and unfinished upon my return of my car, which they kept for 7 weeks. The owner Paul told me to kiss his '-'''. W

The next day when I took the car back complaining of incomplete work and a sloppy paint job. After several weeks of giving this Company to correctly fix the problems they told me I had to wait they have other cars to fix. I went to three other collision Company's for their opinions and I was told I got ripped off and nothing on my estimate was repaired. Paint peeling wrong color no clear coat,

Trunk damaged its unlined, sensors not replaced etcDesired Settlement: WANT to have full refund for CAR to be completed professional as it was paid for to be.

To The Revdex.com;In response to complaint, ID [redacted] did have an accident and we have done a lot of work on her car. Weactually did more repairs than what was on the insurance estimate. We did the extra repairs(fixed and painted all four wheels and got headliner and trim pieces reupholstered) as acourtesy and did not even require her to pay the deductible ($500).When she came and picked her car up, she was very happy and very impressed with thework we have done, After a while, not the next day as she stated, she was complaining about afew little problems with the car.She came to our location screaming and cursing our employees on 12-29-2016. Anemployee ([redacted]) and the owner (Paul) were working on a vehicle. We also had othercustomers purchasing a car. [redacted] called [redacted] a nr and told him that it was ok for her tosay that to him because she was black as well. She cursed at Paul and told him he was a GDpiece of [redacted] and that he [redacted] ripped her off and she wanted her [redacted] GD car redone.Paul told her that he doesn't even kiss his wife's [redacted] and he wasn't going to kiss hers either.The customer that was purchasing a vehicle said that he couldn't believe the way the lady wastalking to the guys after we helped her get her whole car painted and painted the wheels likeshe requested. She got upset because we were waiting for parts from the Jaguar dealership.We fixed the driver-side door panel that was not damaged in the accident. We also fixed theheadliner in the car that was not damaged in the accident. [redacted] called up here around the18th and started cursing me over the phone when l told her [redacted] wasn't here and he couldn'tcall her back. I ([redacted]) told her we were taking care of other customers as well and that shewasn't our only customer. She told me she didn't give a damn about other customers and thatshe should be our top and only priority. I told her that we were doing everything in our powerto get everything taken care of. She was very disrespectful to me and everyone at our business.[redacted] was also complaining that the new paint color was not right. We got the paint code off ofthe car. I had no ideal of the extent of damages to my car on November 11 2015. All I know is that I when I came to I was alive.... These issuese in the complaint several of the major repair has not been fixed. And these issues remain incompletet an unrepaired. MyComplaint, [redacted] is seeking refund of monies to be refunded to [redacted] to complete the job as ordered. Currently, that is where my car is its unsafe to drive. Also, being that Sharp Cars did not make the neseccary repair as ordered and kept my car beyond a reasonably time frame I'm also requesting car. Rental reembursment of extended rental time

As we explained inour previous response, we actually have done more work than what was in the insurance estimate. [redacted]; You clearly do not understand the nature of my complaint with Sharp Cars, as previously stated they gave failed to repair and or complete the body work if my car as well as taking my insurance money for mechanical fixrures for my aur bag sensors and my rear bumper sensor!! Sharp car was paid for work that was not done on my car!!! Look at my estimate to sharp cars! I have all ready outlined the comparance for both estimates!!! Call me please your not understanding the incomplete body work not finished on my car...
