Bought my system in November In Sept of we started to have what appeared to be muddy water in our water systemSharp sent a Tech to investigate and claimed to find nothing that would create this problemproblem persisted with many Tech visits with same resultsSalesman told us that there was no charge because we made the original claim within the warranty periodAll this time we were bathing in washing laundry and cooking with this problemIn March of a tech saw what we were living withHe took a sample thinking it would now get fixedAfter another call they sent the salesman back to sell me more equipment which I did not needFinally they sent someone to change the bedding in the unit which corrected the problemNow they are sending me bills for when I was told the problem was covered under warranty
I believe I was ignored and lied to many times and the problem could have been resolved if they would have listened to me in the first place
This company can sell a productbut their after the sale commitment leaves much to be desired

I received this complaint yesterday (1/18) that mention overdue complaintI would like to clear this matter upI went through the ***’s complaint and I have also gone through the work orders so I would have a clear understandingI am not sure why they
are refusing to pay for the service we providedThey mentioned that they had a plumber come out to find out what the problem wasThe plumber told them that the pipe leading to the water softener was cloggedWe do not treat the water before the water softener that would be impossible. Our equipment only treats the water after the equipmentWe provided a service at their request,(replaced their clogged pipes) and as far as I know we did a good job, and the water is flowing freelyThe ***’s water is full of iron and sedimentThis will require service on a regular basisI will give them a phone call to discuss options for paying for the service we providedMy understanding after talking with our manager and the service techs that were at the property we might be at an impasseBut again, I will call them to see what we can work outThanks

What Sharp Water is not telling you is the pipes he had to replace was the pipes they put in to connect the softner system!When they first installed it  they said I should not need to call them back for 5 years.One year later I had to call,the service calls only take them 15 min. They would say it was not there softner or hook ups causing the problem.I had 3 plumbers replace everything up to those pipes to the softner,they would not touch it because they were afraid they would void the warranty.Check all the service calls to our house there are many and nothing was ever fixed?I had to threaten and call the boss to make them stay and fix it! I tried to write this on the complaint page but it did not work,please send this to them and let me know.They have pictures of how bad the tanks were,it was bad!

I sent my operations manager [redacted] a 30 year employee. [redacted] found that our system was on bypass. [redacted] took the unit off bypass and everything was working fine. We will continue to monitor to make sure everything is working properly.

I will have my manager [redacted] call Mrs.[redacted] today to try and work this out. [redacted] is the one who has talked with her before and has been servicing her area for over 30 years.

In March of 2015 a tech saw what we were living with. He took a sample thinking it would now get fixed. After another call they sent the salesman back to sell me more equipment which I did not need. Finally they sent someone to change the bedding in the unit which corrected the problem. Now they are sending me bills for 190.00 when I was told the problem was covered under warranty.

This company can sell a product. but their after the sale commitment leaves much to be desired
