In October, 2015, I contracted with [redacted] ***/Sharp's Construction to paint the exterior of my house, replace a rotten sub-floor in a bathroom, install new vinyl, grout and seal the tile in the same bathroom The painting job was completed in a timely manner and I paid him for this part of the job Quality of work was good, although I have noticed drips in the paint on boards above the front porch area that need to be repaintedWhen I had purchased vinyl flooring, I called and scheduled 11/18/for completion of the work in the bathroom I was not able to be home on the day he wanted to come, but he wanted to finish the job and receive the balance of his payment, requesting I pay him beforehand since I wouldn't be home when they finished When I got home that evening and inspected the bathroom I was unhappy with the quality of the work The floor was noticeably uneven under the vinyl, ceramic wall tiles that had apparently been removed were replaced crookedly and with no grout
