I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As I have previously stated, three matching pieces of furniture were purchased from Sharp's Furniture in 2013. After I noticed the fabric ripping on the grand chair in February I contacted the store. Sharp's Furniture repeatedly made promises to 'make this right' and never did. Not one return phone call from Sharp's Furniture over months and months. Before we purchased these three pieces Sharp's Furniture's representative *** kept recommending the Hallagan brand over other brands in their store and repeatedly stating that this brand is of excellent quality. I don't think 'excellent quality' should be ripping after less than years. Two adults, no children in the home. These pieces were not viewed by anyone from the manufacturer Hallagan or Sharp's Furniture other than two guys who came and took pictures and stated: they had never seen a problem like this, and I would hear back from Sharp's in two weeks. I never got one return phone call from Sharp's Furniture.These three matching pieces were over $3,which is a substantial amount. The issue with the grand chair is the fabric is ripping where the arm of the grand chair is attached to the back of the chair, which there is no way we could have caused that. It is how the arm and fabric were attached. The fabric is very tight on this arm compared to the other arm which has no issue. It is a shame that Sharp's Furniture doesn't honor their word or back up the furniture they sell, make a profit on, and they claim is such 'excellent quality'. We will continue to tell everyone the terrible customer service we have experiences from this store and their employees and the fact that Sharp's Furniture doesn't back up their word. They do not stand behind the brands they sell. They made -zero- right with us.All I have been asking for since the first contact with them, is for the grand chair to be of the 'highest quality' as they stated and be fixed. Sharp's Furniture has only continued to stall me and leave me with a piece of furniture that is not the highest quality. They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR POLITENESS after they have your money. WHY not one return phone call in months? Because they never intended to do 'the right thing' by their customer.Seems like their philosophy is: take the money and run and then blame the manufacturer.Sharp's Furniture of Washington, PA is a business I would not ever recommend to anyone.I am sorry we ever went into Sharp's Furniture in Washington, PA, and even sorrier we spent our money on sub-standard quality furniture.Regards,*** ***
