Sharpe Roofing

The owner West responded to my call on the same day. He came down in the next day immediately to investigate the issue. I had few shingles came off due to heavy wind. He not only looked at that specific problem but looked around to see if the problem is repetitive in nature. Instead of very costly suggestions he gave a pragmatic advice to do patchwork and fix the problem locally. He took care of the issue within next few days. Though it was a small job he accommodated me in a weekend to address the issue. I was quite impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. I highly recommend him for any roof related work - small or big.

Quarantine project number two replacing our shingle roof due to age. Sharpe Roofing was referred to us from a neighbor who recently had their shingle roof replaced due to hail damage. (Lucky for them their insurance paid for their new shingle roof ð???) We made sure to get several quotes from different roofing contractors but Sharpe Roofing a GAF Master Elite Certified contractor, did stand out the most. Roofing contractor Jackson Murphy came to the house and walked our entire shingle roof with his GoPro and took video so that he could document and show us how aged our shingle roof was. We had shingles that we're loosing adhesions and missing granules. We decided to move forward with Sharpe Roofing and selected the GAF Roofing system which includes the Timberline HDZ shingle in Weatherwood (color), Cobra RidgeRunner vent system, Weatherwatch Mineral-Surfaced Leak Barrier, Seal-A Ridge Protective Cap Shingles and the Eave/Rake Starter Strip. From start to finish the project took two and half days resulting in a beautiful new and safe roof. Hurricane season is right around the corner and we can now feel our home is protected. Great communicate, service, knowledge, and workmanship. West (owner) recently provided me with an inspection that included 2 videos (extremely helpful) - which indicated that I did NOT need any roof repairs as the leaks were coming from my AC ducks (honesty). I've had new roofs put on (by Sharpe) both residential & commercial - they simply do an excellent job. So if your looking for a roofer - Be SHARPE about it!! Thank you West (and Ed).

The Sharpe crew did an excellent job replacing my roof. They finished the job in one day and cleaned up the area completely. Ed S. kept me informed every step of the way, and the total price came in exactly as he said it would.

Prep and clean up was an epic fail. We had our roof done in May and while I will say they have fair pricing and finished the work very fast, their attention to cleanliness was awful. Our pool is not enclosed in a screen and they don't cover it and so many mails and roof pieces ended up in the pool. They did offer us a $100 credit when we asked them to clean the pool but when we went to clean it ourselves and then try to hire someone to clean it, $100 was not sufficient. They also didn't cover our kids in-ground sand box which I found so many nails, roof pieces and trash in and I am still too nervous to let the kids get in it. I expected some nails around the yard to be missed but I found a ton and we ended up buying our own magnet to sufficiently get it cleaned. We complained that clean up wasn't good and that the workers had left cigarette butts everywhere and they did come back out again but I still went back and cleaned up so much trash and cigarette butts and pieces from the roof. In hindsight I would spend more to have a company that pays better attention to ensuring my property is left clean and safe.
