Dear Ma’am Sir On 07/10/MR [redacted] ordered a Used engine for his Jeep Wrangler liter Not only [redacted] ( sales Rep ) Repeats back to customer or times all the information about the customer’s Engine but also As always we sent them a sales order form right away to their email address In that form all the information are very clear year , make , model and engine size ( it’s in closed ) Mr [redacted] had that form a few minutes after he ordered the engine but still didn’t bother to call us and let us know not to send that engine after we sent the Engine and spent for shipping to get there then he called and said it’s a wrong size and he even apologized for his mistake but he expected us to pick it up and send a replacement engine to him without charging him at all after [redacted] talked to him and told MR [redacted] That we need to charge him more to replace it with another engine then he started a fight .not only the correct engine is more expensive but also shipping and handling of the first engine and then the second engine adds to it he do not want to work with us on it He saw his form , he saw it says liter ( not cylinder ) so why didn’t he call us and stop the shipping ?????????Mr [redacted] needs to know moving big items are very costly he can’t just order a wrong Engine and expect a small businesses like us just go ahead and send him another one Thank you [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: The original reason for return of the engine is because the engine is not the correct one for our carOur ASE certified mechanic (*** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ***) has confirmed thisThe company has delivered an incorrect item and refused to pick up the incorrect item we received. Sharper Edge Engines has not asked me for the VIN numberThe VIN number to my car is ***.The original reason for return is that the engine does not match the engine in the car as Sharper Edge Engines said it wouldMy mechanic stated that it will take significant and costly changes to make the engine fit the car properly. After much dismay from Sharper Edge Engines about returning the engine (for the reason that the engine is not the correct one) I decided to purchase an identical car for my *** to get him back on the road immediatelyMy *** is a care taker for my disabled *** and ***, and being without a car any longer would be detrimental to their health as they have not been able to get to their doctors appointmentsDuring this process of buying a new car we kept in communication with Sharper Edge Engines still insisting that the engine is not the correct one. I don't know where the responder got the idea that we are returning the engine for the reason that we decided to purchase a new carThis is not true.Sharper Edge Engines has not physically seen the engine that was shipped to usThe engine was dropshipped from Sharper Edge Engine's supplier in *** instead of from their own warehouse in ***, so this tells me that Sharper Edge Engines cannot verify, like my mechanic did, that this is the correct engine for my car. Sharper Edge Engines continues to ask us to pay for the shipping of the engine back to them, which is not reasonable considering an incorrect engine was delivered. Because the delivered engine was not the correct engine, this situation does not fall under Sharper Edge Engines cancellation policyThe company has delivered an incorrect product that we cannot use and therefore I would like them to return the funds associated.The only amicable resolution to this matter is for Sharper Edge Engines to arrange for a pickup of this engine plus a full refund.I have attached a letter to confirm everything stated above.

as this customer still has the engine I could have easily fight the dispute and win it but I didn't ....I did not fight it or respond to The Dispute this customer made against us because I wasn't involved with this transaction and didn't know how *** treated my customer..anyway *** is no longer with us and we let this dispute go .Thanks*** ***

The Customer Ordered a wrong Engine She made a mistake in the Year of the vehicle and we sent the sales order form to her where all the information about her engine is includedshe got the sales order from but unfortunately she is denying it. The Customer needs to send our engine back
and we will be refunding her minus the one way shipping cost. Thank you *** ***

I am rejecting this response because: Much of the response is Misleading if not a Lie" I did NOT start the argument"After I told him that HE sent the Wrong engine ( he called it a 4.0(ltr.) when I asked for a Cylinder (2.5ltr.) He called and left a message that he had a 4.0, cylinder far me and I called him back to tell him it had to be a cylinderBoth He And His Wife Screamed at me when I called to check on the progress of the exchangedTheir WEB sight Clearly says a "No Questions Asked Return Policy"
with NO obvious Conditions on itThis is a Clear case of Misrepresentation and advertisingI am No longer in need of this engine and He is free to pick it up anytime, But at his Expense

This gentleman bought the engine form
us and after they received the engine they then decided to purchase a new car
rather than fixing their old car , which is fine with us .
But 
they called us and asked us to pick our engine up and take it back.
 That's...

called 'cancellations / Returns' and we
are very clear in our website about it .(Down Below you can find what we wrote
in the last paragraph of our warranty page about returns and cancellations :

when we told them they have to pay for
the shipping both ways  then they said we
sent them the wrong engine .
we sent what they ordered from us .
we sent them the VIN proving it was
the correct engine and when we asked them to give us their car's VIN number
they refused and we called their mechanic to get the VIN from him , he refused
as well. They all claimed they couldn’t find it .
we all know if the person has the car
he has the VIN .
now tell me please is it a game ?
we wouldn't be in the business very
long if we were shipping engines all over the USA while having people in the
other end just say we don't feel like we want this engine , come and pick it
up, it cost us 250.00 to ship it to them and will be costing 250.00 to ship it
back.
we didn't even ask for restocking fee
but they completely refused to do anything about it .
RETURNS: In the event the customer
cancels the order after the product has shipped, the customer will be liable
for all shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee. Any damages to the delivered
product must be reported within 24 hours so that a claim may be started with
the freight company. All legal litigations will be held in Jacksonville,
Florida.

Used engine for his 1998 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 liter .
Not only [redacted] ( sales Rep ) Repeats

I am rejecting this response because: I have not been refunded by Sharper Edge Engines. I have only a provisional credit from my credit card company until the dispute is settled and Sharper Edge Engines still has a chance to reverse the charges. Sharper Edge Engines will have to process a refund to my account. I am also happy to return the engine to you if you provide a shipping label.
