Review: I [redacted] would like you to do an audit on my entire file including credit card issues paid on time for the last 5 years, and child support checks taken out of my account; and money that has been saved since Feb. 2015 not being taken out of my $880.00 them being my payee. This company hired a worker named Heidi to do all my business finances, and after my complaining constantly with her; they finally decided to get rid of her this Friday 11/20/2015 Can you please help me to get out of this company according to my rights. This email in response to complaint ID [redacted] Shascade Community Services, Inc. provides an Organization Representative Payee services for individuals that receive Social Security benefits that have been deemed by the Social Security Administration to require a representative payee in order to receive Social Security benefits. In response to the complaint filed by [redacted], the following has been found: For any credit card statements received on behalf of [redacted], all correspondence, as outlined in the agreement signed by [redacted], are to be addressed to Shascade Community Services, Inc. Personal Finance Services. This is to insure that liabilities on behalf of the client are paid on time. This goes for credit card statements as well. On many occasions [redacted] has hand delivered new credit card statements that have not been addressed to Shascade. These statements were already delinquent when delivered to Shascade. [redacted] was advised to have all correspondence addressed to Shascade. As for child support taken out of [redacted]’s monthly stipend, the Social Security Administration withholds child support payments before they are deposited to Shascade. Shascade has no control over this whatsoever. As for the statement in the complaint, “and money that has been saved since Feb. 2015 not being taken out of my $880.00 them being my payee.” Sheila has never requested to have an amount placed forth towards any type of savings. As for our former employee, Heidi, she had coincidently left the organization when this complaint took place. Should [redacted] wish to have another payee or be her own payee, she has every right to this request. She merely has to go to the local Social Security Administration office and express that she would like a different payee and they will be more than happy to accommodate her. The complaint states that [redacted] is requesting restitution. [redacted] has received services from Shascade since June of 2010. A monthly charge has been charged to her account, an amount set by the Social Security Administration. There will be no reimbursement for charges given to [redacted]. Should [redacted] wish to have her husband, Leonard, to be her payee, as statements before they merely have to visit their local Social Security office to for this request.
