To whom it may concern, I am writing in response to the complaint that Revdex.com received 1-11-from *** in Paynes Creek, Ca. First, we NEVER ask a potential customer to run their tank completely out of propane before we come to set our tank, this would be an inconvenience for the customer,
because they would not have any gas in their tank and if we could not get there right away, they would have no hot water, cook stove or heatWe DO, however, ask them to run their tank down between 10-20% to make it easier to "pump-over" the remaining gas into our tank, (not all companies do this, so the customer is usually out that gas), but we do it for new customers. 2nd, we did say we could set a tank at this location, but, upon further review, found out that it is way out of our service areaThe directions that were given to our service man made it seem closer than it actually is, regardless, we reserve the right to refuse serviceNow, when the customer called to see when we would be there, I let her know that we could NOT set a tank at their location, because of distance from our location. She told me that she still had 3-4% in her tank, if the customer did not call another company and could not get someone out there sooner than 1-14-16, that is not our responsibility. I apologized profusely to this customer for the mand the misunderstanding of the location of their propertyThey had gas in their tank at that point.We are not going to pay for another company to come out, because, like I have said, we do NOT ask potential customers to run their tanks completely outThank you for your timeSincerely, *** Shasta Gas Propane V.P

I am writing in response to the complaint that the Revdex.com received from our customer, [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] has been our customer since 2010.  Since then, he has had a history of late payments, past due annual tank rent and returned (NSF) checks.  Mr. [redacted] has...

complained to the Revdex.com, that our company, Shasta Gas Propane, has no compassion and have not and will not work with him.  On more than one occasion, we have delivered propane to Mr. [redacted], with tank rent being due or past due, instead of collecting for the tank rent or past due tank rent, we have only collected for the delivery, making an arrangement with Mr. [redacted], to have the tank rent paid at a later date.  According to our customer agreement, we can actually pick up our tank if the rent is not paid. We have “never” done this to Mr. [redacted]. We have left our equipment on his property so that he could continue to have heat and hot water.  I am truly sorry that Mr. [redacted] feels the way he does about our company, but we have truly done everything in our power to meet his needs.  Hoping that we can move forward, thank you for your time, [redacted], Shasta Gas Propane, V.P.

Review: Two time I had to get help with propane, I have been unemployed for 2 years. I had The self help pay for propane due to little income. Now [redacted] payed for my propane. I just got disability payments. Shasta gas would not deliver the fuel instead the took the money both times for tank rental. Now I have to pat tank rental and 165.00 to turn the propane on in the house. So next check Ill pay the tank rental. In 14 days Ill have to pay the 165.00 To turn the propane on. If they could waited till Mon or Tues next week I would have payed the tank rental.Now I have to pay 229.00 I think they could be more understanding They are not very work able. The one time I tried to talk to them The daughter was the most disrespected person I have ever deal with.Please help I have no heat or hot water nor can I cookDesired Settlement: Work more with people that have hit hard time. And call the customer. Don't wait till the day of delivery. I found out the day of delivery both time Show A little compation

Review: we called shasta gas to see if they serviced our area they said yes and made us an appointment they also told us to run the propane tank we had already empty so they could give us one of thier tanks so this is what we did then the day they were suppose to come out and set everything up the driver calls and asked how to get to my house from maton so I gave him the directions to my house next thing I know the office calls and says sorry but we dont service your area so now im sitting here with three kids and a wife with no propane to cook shower or heat my house I have already called a differnt company and they will be here thursday the 14 of this month but that still dont help till they get here dont think you should be giving them a At rating if this is how they treat people they should have known that they dont service our area when we first called them not after they had us run our tank out of propane this company is a joke and shoulnt be is business thank you for your timeDesired Settlement: think they should have to pay for this other company having to come out here when they are the ones that messed up
