Review: On 12/23/2015 I called several rental agencies before reaching this Avis. I ended up making a reservation for 12/24/2015-12/26/2015 at the rate of $62.99/day. This was the best deal I found in town as most minivans were over $100/day. This was a last minute emergency need. Given my quote I budgeted for the amount quoted. I was told I would be given a minivan or 7 passenger SUV. I was also told I must come after noon to get it because that is when that rate would be available. On 12/24/2015 at 11:47 am I called to confirm my reservation and find out if we were getting at minivan or SUV. I was told a minivan. Being that it was Christmas Eve, and apparently the stores hours deviated, I should have been told this. I arrived at 1:17 PM and the store was closed. We needed to be leaving with our rental car for Christmas. We had to rush out to the airport to see if we could get a car. They were able to find my reservation at $62.99/day but were not able to honor it. They did get us a car at $69.99/day with 24-38% tax because it was at the airport.Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of the initial rental and what I paid.
