Regards,
[redacted]
I am not satisfied, the owner of the company has not taken responsibility for their employee action. They have damage a part on my car. Not only has this company continue to lie about issue but has fell to listen and resolve the situation. I understand Shaver will do anything to protect their company but Mrs Wendy Shaver has been completely rude and very nasty about the issue, on the phone and writing. Fact is they broke a part on my car done to them towing my vehicle that was not broke before hand. I am not satisfied with how this company handle situation or conduct business.

Yes, we towed [redacted] car - no, we did not do any damage.

After towing [redacted] car to [redacted] she called to say we had done damage to the control arm. She states in her complaint that when she called the first time, I hung up on her. This is a mistruth, I listened to [redacted] for about 10 - 15 minutes. I listened to her explain how we damaged the control arm and how she knew that we had done it. I asked her several questions in the conversation in order to understand everything that she was saying, NEVER in this conversation or any other did I call her a liar.

In this first conversation, she stated to me that she had had her car at [redacted] in the day or so previous to us towing the vehicle. She stated that she had the car totally looked at and that they stated that there was nothing wrong with her control arm. I asked her why she had gone to [redacted]. She said that she had her car at [redacted] because as she was going down the road, near [redacted], her battery was low  and she went in to get it charged. She stated that they went over the whole vehicle while they were charging the battery and that they specifically said that there was no damage to the control arm. She also stated in this conversation that she had a video of us hooking up the car by the control arm. She then stated that there was a [redacted] driver there and that he and she were talking  while my driver was hooking up and that she stated to the [redacted] driver -"Look do you see that, he is hooking up my car by the control arm?"  She stated that the [redacted] driver said yes, he's hooking up to your control arm. And then both of you stated to each other that now she would have trouble. To me during this conversation, things that she was saying about specific conversations about a control arm were not making sense as it is not a part name that comes up in casual conversation. I told [redacted] at this me that I would talk with the driver and get his side of the story and that I would get back with her. I told her at this time that she should get her ducks in a row because some of them seemed to be walking kind of crooked.

My husband and I spoke to the driver the next day. He stated that he did not hook up to the control arm, but to the rear axle. I asked him how many people had their heads under the vehicle as he was hooking up, he looked at me funny and said nobody. I asked where [redacted] was since she had told me she had a video of him hooking up. He said that she was on a porch about 8 feet above him. I asked where the [redacted] driver was. He had to think about that and said yes, there was a [redacted] driver there, but he was in his truck and  across the street.

[redacted] called back that evening. I tried to talk to her and tell her what I had discussed with the driver and try to clarify her talking of having a video and the discussion with the [redacted] driver. She did not want to her anything I had to say, nor discuss any of her first story with me,  She asked me my name, I told her. I wanted to discuss what she had originally said and what the driver had said. She only wanted to have he say. She stated that "I do not want to hear anything you have to say." As the conversation was only getting more heated and she was yelling at me, I did hang up on her. She only wanted a one sided conversation and had no desire for a discussion or a resolution. She thought she could just keep abusing me verbally and that I would accept it.

She then emailed me. I responded to her email. She is now totally ignoring the facts that she stated to me in the original conversation. She is saying that because I asked in the email for verification from [redacted], the video she stated she had and the [redacted] driver's name, that I am acting aggressive toward her and that I am twisting her words. I am not twisting anything I only want the evidence that she says she has. I have never called her a liar and never been abusive toward her. She on the other hand has been very free in calling me names. I will talk to anyone about a situation and most things can have a mutual resolution, but I do not have to be hollered at by anyone. I would like to know specifically when she says I called her a liar. I know that I have never done that and I only told her that her ducks were walking kind of crooked. (My husband was sitting next to me for the entire first conversation and knows that I neither called her a liar, hung up on her, or was aggressive. I will believe what my driver says and unless she can give me the evidence that she has stated she has, I will consider the matter closed.

Thank you,
